This week, I combined sketch 32 by Laura at
2 Sketches 4 You with
Use It Challenge #22. I thought that they worked perfectly together and so off to my scrapbook room I went to create a card. For the
Use It Challenge #22 (brought to us by the fabulous
June Houck), we had to use
1. A New Technique - one we haven't tried before and I have never stamped on ribbon/fabric before......for this card, I stamped on the Twill Tape from
Stampin' Up!®. I really like how it turned out and will definitely do it again.
2. Use a Virgin Stamp - I haven't used this Lots of Bots stamp set from
Stampin' Up!®....my first purchase from the new catalog.
3. Use Papers You Haven't Used Before - I just bought this Basic Gray cardstock from
Stampin' Up!® and just opened the pack for this card. I haven't ever used gray cardstock on a card before this and had reluctance to even try it until I bought this stamp set and I love how it looks with these papers and stamps.
