Celebrate Spring

I hope that you have all had a wonderful start to your weekend.  I am attending a Swarm with friends from the Cricut message board (it is a crop that has been named a Swarm because all of our Cricuts get together and chirp).  I came down yesterday to meet up with my friends and attend the ScrapbookUSA Expo in SLC and we are now going to spend the day scrapping away at a crop.  While I was packing up my stuff to come down, I had an idea for a card with Laura's Sketch 48 at 2 Sketches 4 You, so I quickly put it together.  (When I took the picture, it was snowing and we didn't' have good light, so I tried to brighten it a bit in PSE).
Cardstock, stamps, border punch: Stampin' Up!
        Patterned paper: DCWV
Die-cuts: Cricut with Straight From the Nest Cart
        Brads: Making Memories
Ribbon from my stash (not sure of the brand)

I am keeping my fingers crossed that I am given the go ahead to share some exciting news with you this weekend.  ;)

New Caardvarks Challenge - Lacy Days

Have you heard about the New Caardvarks Challenge??  It involves Lace and the sponsor is JustRite Stampers.  Here is my card based on the challenge....
I combined the challenge to use Lace with the awesome My Garden Borders and Centers round 3 1/4" stamp set I received from JustRite Stampers to make this card.  I used 3 layers of lace for this card.  I have also been invited by JustRite Stampers to join in on their 3 day long blog hop on March 23, 24, and 25 with amazing prizes and 88 fabulous designers that you get to go and visit to be inspired.  I hope you come back to join me (I am up on day 2....the 24th).

Jump on over to the Caardvarks blog to see all the wonderful cards the Crew created and to check out the awesome prize (that I would love to win) up for grabs in this great challenge.

Welcome!!

Welcome back!!  Wow!!  Has it been 2 weeks since my last post??  Time has sure flown and I can't believe that we are already over half way through March.  I have been really busy with our house having a little flood problem.....some of it did get into my scrapping room =( ......and preparing for my daughters birthday party.  I have also been working on some design team projects (as well as a surprise I get to share with you tomorrow), so there is a lot to share with you in the coming days.

I had to sit down in the middle of all the things that have been going on and create this card based on Kazan's Sketch 48 at 2 Sketches 4 You.  I had a Stampin' Up! party a couple of weeks ago, so I created this card with some of my new Stampin' Up! goodies.

        All Products are Stampin' Up!

Check back tomorrow for some exciting news and to see what I have created for the new Caardvarks challenge.

Merci - CPS 156

I hope that you have had a fabulous start to your weekend.  We have had visitors and a septic tank scare, so things have been hopping here.  I did sneak down to my scrapping room to make this card based on sketch 156 at Card Positioning Systems this week.  When I saw the sketch, I knew exactly how I wanted to use it and I had to wait until last night to steal a little time away.
Cardstock, stamps, ink, corner rounder: Stampin' Up!
        Flowers: Prima
        Ribbon, adhesive pearls: Michael's
        Embossing: Quickutz embossing folder
