Really Quick Bee Love Card

Here is a really quick card that I made today with this darling image from the July 2011 KOTM from Unity.  I colored the image in with my Copic markers and added it to this card with scraps of patterned paper that I sewed onto it.  When I say quick.....I mean really quick compared to the time it takes me to make most cards.....this one was under 30 minutes.

Here is a close up of that super cute image.  I added a few pen accents after I colored it with the Copics and the fun XO sentiment from SRM Stickers.

I am linking this up to the Unity Kit of the Month Sketch Challenge.  I am also linking this up to the Friends With Flair Unity blog hop post.   Thanks for stopping by!!  Don't forget that I have a fun giveaway going on HERE.

Hugs,
Amy

Hey, look at that....two post in as many days.  I must be on a roll.  ;)  Today I have a card to share with you that I made for the current Lawnscaping challenge #20 - Paper Piecing.  I used the fun Making Frosty Friends stamps from Lawn Fawn for my card.

I used some patterned vellum for the body of the snowman.  Not sure how well you can see it in the photos.......

Here is the challenge photo:

Now that the weather is turning cooler, I hope to have more time to craft and can post a little more often than I have over the last couple of months.  How about you??  Do you find that you craft more when the weather is cooler??

Candy Corn Treat Tubes with SRM Stickers

Have I got a sweet treat for you today.  I created these fun tubes from SRM Stickers and filled them with one of my favorite fall treats.....candy corn.  The cute little tags are made with the Cricut and Mini Monsters cartridge.  I added some pen details,  Peachy Keen face stamps, a little chalk to the cheeks, and some awesome SRM Stickers.  I tied them to the candy corn filled tubes with some grosgrain ribbon from Stampin' Up!

Here is a shot of one of them on it's side......

Here is a close up of the cute little tag.....

A view from the top......

My kids are about all ready for Halloween.  I still have a little bit of work to do on my son's costume (one more trip to the fabric store) and they will be all ready to go....a little less than two weeks away.  This year, I will have a Cinderella, purple butterfly, and a black bat (their choices).  Last year I dressed them all up as Alice in Wonderland costumes.  I made all of the costumes and I got an honorable mention at the Create For Less website.  Here is a quick peek of my Alice, Mad Hatter, and White Rabbit from last year:

That is about the extent of our Halloween celebrations......letting the kids dress up and go out to harass beg the neighbors for candy.  We also go to the one of the local nursing homes and let them see the kids, too.  They just love seeing the little kiddos all dressed up.  Do you celebrate Halloween??  How do you celebrate??

Also, don't forget that I have a giveaway going on this week.  CLICK HERE for the details.

Hugs,
Amy

Witchy Boo Card AND GIVEAWAY!!

Hello everyone!!  I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!!  I have so many things going on right now.....good things.....and so to celebrate, I am having a giveaway!!  Scroll down for the details.  First I have this card to share with you that I made for the current CAS-ual Fridays challenge CFC24 to make a clean and simple project with No Orange in it.

This super cute stamp is Moka Tabitha from Taylored Expressions.  I colored her with my Copic markers and added this fun black frame from the Happy Hauntings cartridge (see giveaway today) and my Cricut Expressions....I altered the frame on my Gypsy to fit the stamped image better.  I debossed the black frame with my Swiss Dots embossing folder and tied some of the twine from The Twinery around it.  The white "BOO" sticker sentiment is from SRM Stickers WGYS Treats.  I added some of the gold colored pearl pen from Viva Decor to her belt buckle.

So, how would one of you like to win the Happy Hauntings Cricut cartridge??

I have one that I am going to give away at the end of the week.  Simply leave a comment under this post with your name and email address and I will randomly draw a winner on Saturday October 22nd, so don't forget to check back.  Want a bonus entry??  Be a follower or subscriber to my blog and leave a second comment letting me know that you are and I will put your name in again.  Sound good??  Alright.....Good Luck!!

Creepy Spider Window Card

Hello friends!!  Today is a sad day for me because it is the last card I will be doing as a member of the My Craft Spot design team.  I would like to thank Kimberly and to let her know that I am really honored that she chose me to be a part of her first design team.  The challenge this week is to combine black with either purple, orange, or green.  For my card, I chose green and I created this fun spider window card that I created with my Cricut, Gypsy, and October 31st and Elegant Edges cartridges.  The stamp and crinkle ribbon are from My Craft Spot.

Here is a close up of that fun little spider with the card open.....I added little dots from the Ice White Pearl pen by Viva Decor for the eyes and hung it from the web with a little crochet floss.

I hope that you will join us this week.....since it is my last week as part of the My Craft Spot design team.  If you are interested in trying out for one of the spots that is opening up on the My Craft Spot design team, you have until midnight tonight to get your entries in.  CLICK HERE for more details.  Thanks for stopping by and leaving such fabby comments.

Hugs,
Amy

Breast Cancer Awareness Card

Did you know that October is Breast Cancer Awareness month??  SRM Stickers has some wonderful stickers that go perfectly on any card or layout about breast cancer.  I put several stickers together to form a collage piece on my card.  I used Mojo Monday sketch 209 for the layout and I am entering it in the Link Up For Pink linking party.

Here is the sketch:

And the LUFP blinkie:

It has been a week since I last posted....ugh....I am sorry about that.  I have been super busy with some design team stuff that I get to share with you later, plus I was cleaning my stove earlier this week when I sliced the top of my index finger open and it has been really painful to do too much with it.  Today it is feeling pretty numb, so hopefully I can get back to more creating.  And next time I clean the stove, I will wear gloves. ;)

Have a great weekend!!
Hugs,
Amy

Happy World Card Making Day 2011

Good Morning my crafty friends!!  I have a card to share with you today on World Card Making Day 2011.  If you are hoping along with the World Card Making Day Blog Tour and are new to my blog, I hope you enjoy what I have to share and maybe even subscribe.  ::wink::  ::wink::

My card today is created with my Cricut and Elegant Edges and Flower Shoppe cartridges.  The sentiment is SRM Stickers.  I based my colors on this card for PDCC101.  Also there is a fun challenge on the SRM Stickers blog to create a card with SRM Stickers and upload it to the SRM Stickers Flickr gallery for a chance to win some yummy goodies.

Here is a close up of those fab rolled flowers from the Flower Shoppe cart as well as the beautifully scripted sentiment from SRM Stickers.  This card was really easy to create.....the Cricut and SRM Stickers really did all the work.

So, tell me, are you crafting/card making today??  I hope to get a chance spend some time in my crafting room today.  Thanks for stopping by and all of your lovely comments!!

Hugs,
Amy
