The Twinery and SRM Stickers Blog Hop

Hey everyone!!  Welcome back for the blog hop with The Twinery and SRM Stickers.  When I heard that these two awesome companies were teaming up, I just had to jump on board and sign up to participate.....especially since I designed with SRM Stickers last year (I just love their stickers!!).

Today, I have a sweet birthday card to share with you that combines these two FABULOUS products.  I used both Blossom and Charcoal bakers twine on my card.

The Happy Birthday Sentiment is from the Birthday Fancy Sticker Sentiments from SRM Stickers.  The papers I used are from Echo Park and I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the background with an embossing folder from Teresa Collins Timeless set.

The flowers are cut from the new rolled flower die at My Creative Time.  The little pink edges are cut with my Cricut and the Elegant Edges cartridge.

Now, how would you like to win three full spools of your choice of bakers twine from The Twinery ($42 value)??

All you need do is  leave comments on each of the blogs that are participating in the blog hop today and tomorrow.  The complete list is available on the The Twinery blog.  Deadline to leave comments is 11:59pm Sunday, April 29th.

I would like to thank SRM Stickers for donating some super YUMMY stickers for us to work with.

Hugs,
Amy

Scenic Birthday Boy Card with Peachy Keen Stamps

Hello everyone!!  This is my second post for the day....to see another fun project, scroll down.  Today I get to share a fun birthday card on the Peachy Keen Stamps blog that you can create for that special little boy in your life.  I don't know about you, but I am always running short on birthday cards and since I have many more nephews than nieces in my family, there is always a need for a birthday card for a little boy.  The Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment from Peachy Keen Stamps is my favorite face set for little boys.

I stamped the background with the new Cloudy Day background stamp in two different colors of blue ink.  I find it easier to add ink to these large images with a brayer.  It provides a more even ink coverage.  After adding the stamped background image to the card, I used my sewing machine to stitch along the edges of the image.
I used my Cricut and the This and That cartridge from Creative Memories to cut out this little boy.  I added some ink and this adorable face from the Wide Eyed Kids Face Assortment along with a little chalk on the cheeks and some white gel pen for the whites of the eyes and some freckles on his cheeks.  I inked up and added some stitching to the die cuts, too.  I also cut out a fence and some grass to go behind the boy and added them to the card first.  I finished it off with a little bit of bakers twine from The Twinery.

I hope that this has inspired you to get working on some birthday cards for the sweet little boy in your life.

Hugs,
Amy

3D Wednesday with My Creative Time

Happy Wednesday!!  Today at the My Creative Time blog, Emma is showcasing 3D projects created with her FABULOUS stamps and dies.  I made this super cute strawberry basket with some 3D strawberries with my Cricut and the new Spring Cottage cartridge.

On each of the little strawberries, are the perfect size to slip a little treat into each one for someone special.  I de-bossed them with my Cuttlebug and the Swiss Dots embossing folder.  I then inked them up a little bit before I assembled them and then added some Peapod bakers twine from The Twinery.  I finished them off with the wonderful little Teeny Tag Greetings stamp and die set from My Creative Time.

The basket was quite easy to put together.  I just cut it out with kraft cardstock and then inked it up and put it together........isn't it SUPER CUTE!!

Hop on over to the My Creative Time blog to see what other awesome projects the rest of the design team has created.

It is now time to announce the winner from last week's My Creative Time Blog Hop.  I went to random.org to pick a winner and the lucky gal that is going to be getting the Echo Park 6x6 Dots and Stripes paper pad is:

My Creative Time April Release Blog Hop

Hello friends!!  Today is a fun day at My Creative Time.  Emma has released a FABULOUS new set of stamps and they are for sale today.  To kick off the sale of the new stamps, we are having a blog hop with the design team.

I created this sweet baby gift set with the new All Around Everything and All Around Everything Accessories sets. (I do want to apologize in advance for the poor pictures.....we have had a very overcast and rainy day here and I photograph by natural light)

I used these awesome new stamps to decorate this bow on my gift bag as well as a gift card holder.  These new stamps work PERFECTLY with the Scallop and Stitched Circle Die Set.  I also used the Embossed Gift Card Die to make my gift card.

Here is a close up of the bow.  I just cut six 1x10 inch strips of matching patterned paper, connected to ends together to make a loop and then stapled them all together.  I added some little strips of bakers twine from The Twinery and also a simple rosette.  I then the stamped images on the Scallop and Stitched Circle Die set and then tied it all off with some more bakers twine and a button.

For the gift card holder, I just added a little patterned paper to the bottom edge and some scalloped punched white paper.  I added a little pen stitching and tied it off with some more yummy bakers twine from The Twinery.  I put on the stamped image with the Scalloped and Stitched Circle Die set and finished it off with a button.

Here are the new stamps that I used on my projects today.  These are NOW available for purchase along with the rest of the release that we have been sharing peeks with you this week. Click HERE to get these new releases now.

My Creative Time Sneak Peek Week - Day 3

Hey everyone!!  Here we are at day 3 of the My Creative Time Sneak Peek Week.  How have you enjoyed the projects that have been shared this week??  Tomorrow we will finish it off with a fun blog hop and you will be able to purchase each of these sets from this AWESOME release.

Today I have some lovely pillow boxes that I created with the new Floral Sentiments and rolled flower dies.

The pillow boxes are cut with my Cricut and the Tags Bags Boxes and More 2 cartridge.  I used the Scallop die on one and the Fancy Frame die on the other to cut windows into them and then used the clear packaging from my cartridges to cover the windows.

There are two different rolled flowers in this die set.  Above is one style and below is the second style.  I added some pink rhinestone flourishes.  I tied up the pillow boxes up with a little bit of flax colored bakers twine from The Twinery.    The sentiment is stamped from the new Floral Sentiments stamp set.

Here is a side by side of the two different styles (windows and flowers).  Which one do you like better??  For me it is a toss up......I LOVE them both!!

My Creative Time Sneak Peek Week - Day 1

It is that time again for another sneak peek week at My Creative Time.  Let me tell you that Emma has completely outdone herself with this newest release.  I am really in LOVE with all of the stamps that I get to share a peek of each day this week.  Lets start with the awesome All Around Everything and All Around Everything Accessories sets.
I used the newest set as a sentiment for this cute little gift bag that I cut out on my Cricut from the Life's A Party cartridge.  The scallop and stitched circle die is from My Creative Time as well as the coffee bean stamp.....that one is from the last release and it is in the set called You Are Perk-Fect.
I added some ruffled ribbon around the edges and tied the top of the box off with some yummy bakers twine from The Twinery.  I filled my treat box with some yummy Coffee Nips candies.  Those totally remind me of my childhood and visiting grandma's house.  She always had a stash of them and would let me sneak one each time I would go and visit her.

A New Peachy Challenge - Tea Time!!

Wow!!  I seriously can't believe how long it has been since I last posted.  I was hit really hard with influenza this last week....I was in bed for a few days and I missed going out with my friends for a girls night out to see The Hunger Games movie.....boo hoo!!  Now that I am mostly recovered, I hope to get back to posting more regularly to my blog (and a night out to see the movie I missed last week).  Lets get started with this super fun card for the new Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge #13: Anything Goes.  I used the fun tea cup stamp from the new April Stamp of the Month kit for my fun card below......I definitely had my fair share of herbal teas to soothe my sore throat this last week.....

I colored in the image with my Copic markers and a little white pen detail.  I added some bakers twine from The Twinery along with a little button to finish off the card.  The embossing is from my Cuttlebug and the embossing folder is called D'Vine Swirls.

I hope that you can hop on over to the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge blog to join us in this fun challenge for a chance to win some goodies.  Click HERE for all the details.

There is a mid month release along with a fab sale going on right now over at Peachy Keen Stamps....click the banner below to find out the details:

April Sneak Peek Week at Peachy Keen Stamps

I am so excited to share this card with you today.  This newest release from Peachy Keen Stamps is AWESOME.  I love all of the fun elements in the April Stamp Kit of the Month.  Here is a card that I created with it......
Isn't it fun?!?  The background stamp is also part of the April release (although not in the kit of the month).  I added a heart as the pendulum and some glossy accents to it for some shine.  The clock is colored with my Copic markers and I added some white pen details to it, too.

I used PDCC125 as inspiration for the colors in my card.  Hop on over to the Peachy Keen Stamps blog to check out what the other designers are doing with this new release and check back though the week to see even more.

Hugs,
Amy
