Tropical Vacation Kitty : Februrary Release {Day 3} with Peachy Keen Stamps

Hello and welcome back for another day of sneak peeks with Peachy Keen Stamps!!  Today is the third day as we take a look at the new releases for this month.  Who isn't dreaming of a tropical vacation about now??

We’ve had a blast sharing all the new images with you so far!
Today, we’re featuring great samples using two of our new stamp sets.  Tropical Vacation Kitty Cat and the Kawaii Face Stamps, which come in both the assortment and         1 1/8″ size sets.   These will be perfect for so many amazing projects!

I used the new Tropical Kitty Cat stamp set along with the new Rooftop Background stamp for the waves behind the kitty.  The face on the kitty is just like one of them in the new Kawaii Face Stamps.  I can't wait to use more of them on my projects.  The kitty, sun, and surfboard are colored with Copic markers.  I added some hand stitching around the edges of the oval focal point that is cut with my Oval Spellbinders Nestabilities.

The patterned paper is from the Echo Park All About A Boy 6x6 paper pad.   I used my Cuttlebug to emboss the 'sand' with the Swiss Dots embossing folder.  To finish off the card, I used a bit of the Solid Natural bakers twine from The Twinery and a button along with a little stitching with my sewing machine.

Here is a closer look at my card...

Don't you just love how bright and cheery this card is??  I am so ready for warmer weather and bright sunny days!!

  18. Awesome card. I love the bright, bold colors you used. So cheerful. Yep, I can use some warmer weather too...but glad that we don't have the winter storm that the East coast is dealing with. Great idea of embossing the "sand" and love the stitching.
