I have a fun bookmark that uses the yummy <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">bakers twine</a> from <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">The Twinery</a> mixed with super fun <a href="http://www.adornit.com/index.cfm/store/productlist.cfm?category=43&sortby=merchName&sortdir=asc&showall=1" target="_blank">Art Play Paintables</a> from <a href="http://www.adornit.com/coloring/" target="_blank">AdornIt</a>! I used some of the <a href="http://www.adornit.com/index.cfm/store/product.cfm?product=3479" target="_blank">AdornIt watercoloring pencils</a> on this and created a bookmark to remind me to be thankful every time I pick up my book to read.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://c8.staticflickr.com/6/5474/31222803295_19e472438e_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://c8.staticflickr.com/6/5474/31222803295_19e472438e_b.jpg" width="247" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I used the <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">Solid Marigold bakers twine</a> at the top of this bookmark and added a button for an accent. Here is a closer look......</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://c1.staticflickr.com/6/5634/31079281192_be43fb288d_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="272" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/6/5634/31079281192_be43fb288d_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">And her it is peeking out of the top of one of my favorite books.....do you know which book it is? Have you read it?</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://c7.staticflickr.com/6/5497/31079281542_0eb982e117_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="341" src="https://c7.staticflickr.com/6/5497/31079281542_0eb982e117_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">So, do you like to read? What good books have you read lately? I just love making bookmarks and plan on making several to pass out to friends and family this Christmas season. This is also posted over on <a href="http://thetwinery.com/blog" target="_blank">The Twinery blog</a>. Hop on over and leave a little bit of love there for me, pretty please......</span><br />

I told you a little while ago that I had some fun news to share with you, and even though it is a bit late, here it is: I have been chosen as an ambassador for <a href="http://www.adornit.com/" target="_blank">ADORNit</a>! </span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://c7.staticflickr.com/9/8569/30459287166_6d75890055_z.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="320" src="https://c7.staticflickr.com/9/8569/30459287166_6d75890055_z.jpg" width="320" /></a></span></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">WooHoo!! I love their crafty products and clothes. I was sent a fabulous box filled with fun things like paper, wood pieces, <a href="http://www.adornit.com/scrapbooking/art-play/paintables/" target="_blank">Art Play Paintables</a>, and washi.....so many yummy items that I can't wait to share some of them with you.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">First up is this fun water-colored card that I made from some Art Play that I have had on hand. I just love the quality and texture of these <a href="http://www.adornit.com/scrapbooking/art-play/paintables/" target="_blank">Art Play paintables</a>. They are perfect for adding color from so many different coloring mediums.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://c4.staticflickr.com/9/8621/29863663003_41209233ed_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://c4.staticflickr.com/9/8621/29863663003_41209233ed_b.jpg" width="350" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I used watercolor crayons and the yummy pink polka-dot paper is also some paper from <a href="http://www.adornit.com/" target="_blank">ADORNit</a>. Here is a closer look at the card image.....</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://c4.staticflickr.com/6/5615/29863663203_4389b84033_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="337" src="https://c4.staticflickr.com/6/5615/29863663203_4389b84033_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">So, what do you think? Isn't this a cute little card and I had so much fun coloring that image. I hope to have more to share with you this next week, so stay tuned!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Hugs,</span><br />

I am here to share a fabulous autumn themed card with you using yummy bakers twine from <a href="http://thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">The Twinery</a>. There is a fall/themed week over on <a href="http://thetwinery.com/blog" target="_blank">The Twinery blog</a> and if you are looking for inspiration in that department, head on over and check out what the other designers have been working on.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Today I worked with some Cappuccino bakers twine to accent my Autumn Greetings card....</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://c3.staticflickr.com/9/8135/29975597130_179394f10f_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="335" src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/9/8135/29975597130_179394f10f_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">The pumpkin images are cut out with my Cricut Explore and I used the <a href="http://shop.my-creative-time.com/Piles-of-Smiles-Stamp-Set-REVISED-MCT-083r.htm?categoryId=-1" target="_blank">Piles of Smiles</a> from <a href="http://shop.my-creative-time.com/" target="_blank">My Creative Time </a>for the sentiment. I used the yummy <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">Cappuccino bakers twine</a> from <a href="http://thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">The Twinery</a> to tie around the stems of the pumpkins and then wrapped it around the top and the bottom of the cream cardstock as a border. Here is a closer look......</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://c1.staticflickr.com/6/5824/29975597720_1f874b223c_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="248" src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/6/5824/29975597720_1f874b223c_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">For added depth and texture, I used some ink for shading the edges and also some pen accents.</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">What is your favorite thing about fall/autumn? I have lots of things I love about it....it is my favorite season (well, that and spring). I can't decide if I love the cooler sweater weather better or the changing leaves. How about you?</span><br />
<br />

Well, I wouldn't blame you if there was no one out there. Postings have been rather sparse lately. I have been busy with lots going on including getting the new school year started, kids activities, and some fun news I will announce later this week. I did have time to break away and get this super fun little card set created to share with you.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://c3.staticflickr.com/9/8185/29528645890_08bea36f17_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="213" src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/9/8185/29528645890_08bea36f17_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
I used some yummy <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">Peapod bakers twine</a> from <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">The Twinery</a> on this card along with the first stamp set I bought from the <a href="http://www.unitystampco.com/" target="_blank">Unity Stamp Company</a> called <a href="https://www.unitystampco.com/shop/hodge-podge-of-happiness/" target="_blank">Hodge Podge of Happiness</a>. I stamped, colored, and cut out the apple images, stamped the sentiment directly on the card and then adhered the apple with foam adhesive. I wrapped a few layers of twine around the bottom of the card. Here is a closer look......<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://c3.staticflickr.com/9/8137/29528646210_e7b93deaf4_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/9/8137/29528646210_e7b93deaf4_b.jpg" width="317" /></a></div>
<br />
The cards measure 3 1/2 x 4 1/4 inches. The perfect size to slip into a lunch box or bag before my kids or hubby leave for work or an outing to let them know that I am thinking about them and that I love them.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://c6.staticflickr.com/9/8788/29195271373_daa5fc2f4d_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="360" src="https://c6.staticflickr.com/9/8788/29195271373_daa5fc2f4d_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
If you enjoy my project today, please leave a comment below letting me know and then hop on over the <a href="http://thetwinery.com/blog" target="_blank">The Twinery blog</a> and let them know how much you love the look of their twine on projects.<br />
<br />

Today I get to share a wonderful project over on <a href="http://thetwinery.com/blog" target="_blank">The Twinery blog</a> that features two of my favorite companies.....<a href="http://srmpress.com/">SRM Stickers</a> and <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/">The Twinery</a>!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://c7.staticflickr.com/9/8728/28802694702_0e79eb12c6_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="255" src="https://c7.staticflickr.com/9/8728/28802694702_0e79eb12c6_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<a href="http://thetwinery.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/SRM-Container-1a.jpg"></a><br />
<br />
For the base of my project, I used the <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/Kraft-Pillow-Box--Medium--3x1x5-ea_p_3518.html">Medium Kraft Pillow Box</a> from SRM Stickers. I added a little bit of ink around the edges of it and then added the pretty <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/White-Lace-Doilies--6-Round-20ct_p_3511.html">White Lace Doily</a> over the top of it. The sentiment is from the <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/Weve-Got-Your-StickerThanks_p_3885.html">We've Got Your Sticker/Thanks</a>. The bakers twine that I used today is <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/">Strawberry</a> and <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/">Honeydew</a>. I wrapped it around the pillow box and then tied it in a bow on the left side.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://c6.staticflickr.com/9/8685/28907627205_cc77aea11f_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="257" src="https://c6.staticflickr.com/9/8685/28907627205_cc77aea11f_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
I cut the flower image on my Cricut Imagine. I inked up the edges of the cuts a bit and then glued them onto the pillow box.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://c4.staticflickr.com/9/8157/28292219043_d0bdb88629_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="305" src="https://c4.staticflickr.com/9/8157/28292219043_d0bdb88629_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
I think that this pillow box is a great way to give a treat to show some gratitude towards someone. What would you fill it with?<br />
<br />
Here is a look at the colors of bakers twine from <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/">The Twinery</a> I used today....<br />
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<a href="http://thetwinery.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Honeydew.png"><img alt="Honeydew" class="aligncenter wp-image-2718" src="http://thetwinery.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Honeydew.png" height="200" width="200" /></a> <a href="http://thetwinery.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Strawberry.png"><img alt="Strawberry" class="aligncenter wp-image-2721" src="http://thetwinery.com/wp-content/uploads/2016/03/Strawberry.png" height="200" width="200" /></a> </div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
I would really appreciate it if you would hop on over to the Twinery Blog and leave some feedback love for me over there, too.<br />
<br />
Have a great day!<br />

It has been a while since my last post and I was hoping to get into more crafting this summer, but things have been crazy busy around here. I did get this post up over on <a href="http://thetwinery.com/2016/08/the-sweet-taste-of-summer.html" target="_blank">The Twinery blog</a> yesterday and I wanted to share it here with you, too. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://c5.staticflickr.com/9/8665/28651331892_77f35727db_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://c5.staticflickr.com/9/8665/28651331892_77f35727db_b.jpg" width="356" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">First I die cut an image with my Cricut Explore and then added some adhesive over it and filled it in with some yummy bakers twine from <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">The Twinery</a>. I used some yummy <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">Solid Peapod</a>, <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">Solid Natural</a>, and <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">Solid Strawberry</a> bakers twine on my card. I glued the die cut seeds over the twine for a real watermelon look. Here is a closer look at that wonderful watermelon.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://c4.staticflickr.com/8/7502/28141107163_93c8a4b4be_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="276" src="https://c4.staticflickr.com/8/7502/28141107163_93c8a4b4be_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I added some sticker stitches from SRM Stickers and the sentiment is stamped from an older (out of date and production) stamp set.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">So, did you have some watermelon this week? I would love it if you left a comment here and over on <a href="http://thetwinery.com/2016/08/the-sweet-taste-of-summer.html" target="_blank">The Twinery blog post</a>....it would let me know that there was someone out there reading my posts.</span><br />

Well, they shouldn't anymore because I was able to get into my craft room this weekend and create something!! And, it felt great!!</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I created this fun layout for <a href="http://thetwinery.com/blog" target="_blank">The Twinery blog</a> - stitching with their <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">solid bakers twine</a>. Check it out!</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://c3.staticflickr.com/8/7337/28040714226_0a8075a097_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://c3.staticflickr.com/8/7337/28040714226_0a8075a097_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">This is a layout of my kiddos at the local 4th of July parade....yes, yes, I know that the photos are a few years old, but hey, I was so into the moment the last time the parade was in town that I {gasp} forgot to take pictures. Hopefully I won't forget this year. I used my solid bakers twine on this layout for stitching around the star with the <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">Solid Maraschino</a> and also for the fireworks up in the upper right corner in <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">Solid Midnight Blue</a> and <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">Solid Natural</a> bakers twine. Here is a closer look......</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7660/27997413801_a492a5f0cc_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="230" src="https://c2.staticflickr.com/8/7660/27997413801_a492a5f0cc_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I used my Cricut for the die cut stars and the lettering. This year we will have a fun packed day with parades, games, wagon rides, BBQ and fireworks. How will you be celebrating the day?</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Hugs,</span><br />

I created this card the other day and posted it over on <a href="http://thetwinery.com/2016/05/mothers-day-card.html" target="_blank">The Twinery blog</a>, and I thought that today would be an excellent day to post it here.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7476/26294287994_51b8b8bd65_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="377" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7476/26294287994_51b8b8bd65_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I wrapped a square frame with some <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">Buttercream bakers twine</a> from <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">The Twinery</a> and then cut out the floral and flourish with my Cricut Explore. The sentiment is from <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/Quick-CardsMother_p_3706.html" target="_blank">SRM Stickers</a>. This card measures about 4 1/2 inches square. Here is a closer look at the wrapped twine.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7094/26899484235_2e73be8ca3_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="356" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7094/26899484235_2e73be8ca3_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">It took me a little bit to wrap all the twine, but I just caught up on a show while I was wrapping it up. To finish it off, I just added a bit of Stickles glitter glue to the center of the flower.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I hope that you are enjoying Mother's Day with the ones you love!! Have a great day!!</span><br />

I have a super cute treat container to share with you today that is made out of a pint paint sized can. This posted last week over on <a href="http://thetwinery.com/2016/04/apple-treat-can.html" target="_blank">The Twinery blog</a>.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7195/26801408925_c063367255_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7195/26801408925_c063367255_b.jpg" width="351" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I started out with a blank can and painted it red and green like an apple. I rolled up a bit of corrugated cardboard and inked it with a brown color for the apple stem and hand cut out some leaves. I hot glued them all on and then tied it all up with some <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">Cappuccino and Peapod bakers twines</a> and added a red button in the middle. The tag is made with <a href="http://shop.my-creative-time.com/Stitched-Round-Tab-Arrow-Tag-Dies-MCT-D42.htm?categoryId=-1" target="_blank">THIS</a><span id="goog_171647802"></span><span id="goog_171647803"></span> die from My Creative Time and the apple is cut with my Cricut Explore. I added a Thanks sentiment from <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/Weve-Got-Your-StickerThanks_p_3885.html" target="_blank">SRM Stickers</a>. Here is a closer look.....</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7179/26777130776_6dbe52272f_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7179/26777130776_6dbe52272f_b.jpg" width="266" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I added some woodgrain washi tape to the bottom of the can for a bit of fun texture.......</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7138/26801408565_08f9481ab6_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7138/26801408565_08f9481ab6_b.jpg" width="311" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I filled it with a bag of chocolate candies, but you could fill it with just about anything you wanted to for that special teacher in your life. I actually homeschool, so my kids have been filling up this can with treats, sweet notes and pictures for me. I can't wait to see what they have put inside.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7657/26734705101_f06fa43181_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="356" src="https://farm8.staticflickr.com/7657/26734705101_f06fa43181_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">What do you think? Happy Teacher Appreciation Day/Week to all the teachers out there!!</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>

I almost forgot to get this super cute treat bag posted on my blog. I shared it over on <a href="http://www.thetwinery.com/blog" target="_blank">The Twinery blog</a> last week and wanted to make sure that all of my readers got a peek at it, too.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1639/26226319645_2cf4f479a7_z.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1639/26226319645_2cf4f479a7_z.jpg" width="352" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I used some blue ink and a cloud die cut to make the sky background on white cardstock. This bag is cut from <a href="https://www.silhouettedesignstore.com/view-shape/66304" target="_blank">THIS</a> image and the flower is <a href="https://www.silhouettedesignstore.com/view-shape/75688" target="_blank">THIS</a> image from the Silhouette store. I used the <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">Cantaloupe bakers twine</a> to tie up the box and <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">Peapod bakers twine</a> behind the flower. Here is another look at the flower.....</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">To finish off my treat bag, I used a wonderful <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/SentimentSpring_p_3834.html" target="_blank">SRM Sticker</a>. What do you think?? Would you like to receive this as a gift from someone?? I can't wait to brighten someone's day with it.</span><br />

I just am loving this warmer weather and the little bout of snow we got this week made me appreciate the warmth even more. Today I get to share these fabulous Easter tags over on <a href="http://thetwinery.com/2016/03/say-happy-easter-with-fun-tags.html" target="_blank">The Twinery blog</a>.....</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1690/25918225552_7450877a65_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="212" src="https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1690/25918225552_7450877a65_b.jpg" width="500" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I just love the look of these colorful eggs nestled in the <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">Solid Peapod bakers twine</a> as the grass. I used dies and stamps from <a href="http://www.my-creative-time.com/" target="_blank">My Creative Time</a> for the tags, clouds, eggs, and sentiment. Here is a closer look at that awesome baker's twine grass.....</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1592/25406109624_ebe365a58f_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="293" src="https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1592/25406109624_ebe365a58f_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">To get the look of a real egg, I used some ink to shade the edges of my egg and then added a white shine mark with a gel pen. My kids say that these eggs look real from a distance....what do you think?</span><br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1602/25944331451_ef00f4b6f4_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1602/25944331451_ef00f4b6f4_b.jpg" width="531" /></a> </span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">To finish off my project, I added some <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">Peapod bakers twine</a> to the tops to attach them to some Easter treat.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Do you have any fun Easter plans? We will be going to church and then having an early dinner as a family. On Saturday we will be going to the local Easter egg hunt....we recently moved to this town, so I hope that the kids enjoy it.</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">Have a great day and Happy Easter!!</span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">If you want to see how I created the fringe, hop on over to <a href="http://thetwinery.com/2016/03/rainbow-fringe-birthday-card.html" target="_blank">The Twinery blog</a> to see how I made it. Here is a closer look at the fringe......</span><br />

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I used a star embossing folder in my Cuttlebug for the embossing and finished it off with a <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/Fancy-SentimentBirthday_p_3622.html" target="_blank">Fancy Sentiment</a> from <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/" target="_blank">SRM Stickers</a>. I got to share this fun card on <a href="http://thetwinery.com/2016/02/shine-card-therm-o-web-decofoil-week.html" target="_blank">The Twinery blog</a> last week as we teamed up with Therm-O-Web and used their fabulous <a href="http://www.thermowebonline.com/c/new-products_icraft-deco%E2%80%88foil" target="_blank">Deco Foils</a>.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1509/24577394943_d9499ea69e_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1509/24577394943_d9499ea69e_b.jpg" width="367" /></a></div>
<br />
I went with a fun monochromatic look and used the Hot Melt adhesive in my laminator to create these fab rays. You can check out how I created it over on The Twinery blog <a href="http://thetwinery.com/2016/02/shine-card-therm-o-web-decofoil-week.html" target="_blank">HERE</a>. I finished off my card with a bit of <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">Ocean bakers twine</a> and some <a href="http://srmstore.com/SentimentThinking-of-You_p_3841.html" target="_blank">SRM Stickers</a>. <br />

WooHoo!! I am getting some new posts up!! I am excited to share these mini Valentine's Day cards came together so quick and easy. I have also shared these over on the <a href="http://www.srm-stickers.blogspot.com/2016/02/mini-valentine-cards-by-amy.html" target="_blank">SRM Stickers blog</a>.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1528/24253808574_06e01c4324_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="262" src="https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1528/24253808574_06e01c4324_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
I started with some 3 1/2 x 7 inch card bases and then folded them in half. I then stitched around a 3x3 inch striped paper from Echo Park and mounted that to the card base. I used a <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/Silver-Lace-Doilies--4-Round-20ct_p_3512.html" target="_blank">silver lace doily</a>, cut into 1/4, and added them to the bottom left corner of the patterned paper. I used the <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/Stickers-By-The-DozenValentine_p_3853.html" target="_blank">Stickers by the Dozen - Valentine</a> for the heart and the sentiment. I mounted them with foam adhesive to the bottom of the card. Take a closer look.....<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1518/24586498400_b37251defb_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="306" src="https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1518/24586498400_b37251defb_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
I finished off the card with a bit of <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/SolidPink-Sorbet-Package_p_4024.html" target="_blank">Solid Pink Sorbet bakers twine</a> from <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">The Twinery</a>. I made all four of these mini cards in under an hour. So quick and fun to slip into a lunch tin or school bag. Here is the finished card.....<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

the box where I wanted it and then tied it to the box with some <a data-mce-href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/">Maraschino bakers twine</a>. I know it has been a while since you have seen a post from me.....I am so very sorry for that. I do have a card to share with you today that uses the super cute <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/Clear-StampbrHome-Sweet-Home_p_3193.html" target="_blank">Home Sweet Home</a> stamp set from Jane's Doodles.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I colored in the images with my Copic markers and then cut them out. I mounted them onto this fun textured background that I created with a chevron embossing folder and then added a little bit of ink to the edges. I added some die cut grass pieces and then tied it up with some yummy <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/Bakers-TwineMarigold-Package_p_3993.html" target="_blank">Marigold bakers twine</a> from <a href="http://www.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">The Twinery</a>. I mounted it all onto a white cardstock base and added the sentiment and a little line of pink sticker dots from the <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/Sticker-StitchesValentines_p_3984.html" target="_blank">Valentine Sticker Stitches</a>. Take a closer look.....</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I had an assignment to make a calendar project for SRM Stickers and found that the <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/Mini-Calendar-StickerDecorative-2016_p_3985.html" target="_blank">2016 Decorative Mini Calendar Stickers</a> and cut with the new matching <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/Wafer-Thin-Die-For-Decorative-Calendar-Sticker_p_3461.html" target="_blank">Wafer Thin Die</a> fit in there perfectly. Take a look.....</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/586/23371673911_0d670e81cf_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/586/23371673911_0d670e81cf_b.jpg" width="357" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">To be able to re-use this calendar again next year (with the 2017 stickers, of course), I used some mini clothes pins and covered them with different black and white washi tapes. I then just used some hot glue to glue these onto the background paper.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I used the Times and Seasons papers from Echo Park for the background papers inside the tray.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5707/22827040053_be9f06af68_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="276" src="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5707/22827040053_be9f06af68_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">At the top of the ATC Tray, I used a sticker from the <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/Year-of-Memories-Sticker2016_p_3987.html" target="_blank">2016 Year of Memories Stickers</a> on some vanilla colored cardstock, added some brads to the ends and glued it with a glue dot to the top of the frame. To use it again next year, I will just have to peel this off and put on a new one...shouldn't be too hard.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">To finish off my project, I added some black and white ribbons to the top handle.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5709/23428028456_00e76e5b8e_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="256" src="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5709/23428028456_00e76e5b8e_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">So, what do you think of my new re-purposed ATC Tray? I think that it would be a great gift idea.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">This was posted over on the <a href="http://www.srm-stickers.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">SRM Stickers blog</a> today and I would love it if you would leave a comment on the blog post over there, too.</span><br />

I don't know how about you, but I think that autumn goes by way too fast. It seems to have come in late this year and then left early with our first snow storm earlier this week. Autumn is my favorite season....the cool crisp air, the changing leaves, sweater weather, hot cocoa...I just love it all. I thought it would be fun to share a card that celebrates autumn just a little bit longer that mother nature wants to. </span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I created this card for the <a href="http://srm-stickers.blogspot.com/2015/11/celebrate-autumn-by-amy.html" target="_blank">SRM Stickers blog</a> last week.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/705/22112359161_b9d24a967f_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/705/22112359161_b9d24a967f_b.jpg" width="346" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I used my Silhouette Cameo and <a href="https://www.silhouettedesignstore.com/view-shape/96424" target="_blank">THIS</a> file to cut out the pretty little leaves. I used the Swiss Dots embossing folder and then added some <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/-Sticker-Stitches_c_423.html" target="_blank">Sticker Stitches</a> and the sentiment is from the <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/SentimentFall_p_3835.html" target="_blank">Fall Sticker Sentiments</a> at <a href="http://www.srmpress.com/" target="_blank">SRM</a>.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I tied it up with a bit of <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/category/solid-twine" target="_blank">Solid Marigold</a> bakers twine from <a href="http://thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">The Twinery</a>. Here is a closer look.....</span><br />

<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">So, what is your favorite season?? Is there something that you do to help it stretch out a bit longer??</span><br />

Today I am sharing a post and tutorial over on <a href="http://thetwinery.com/2015/11/handmade-holidays-day-2.html" target="_blank">The Twinery blog</a> for the Handmade Holiday's Blog Hop. The hop has great projects that you can give as gifts this holiday season from many designers all over the web.</span><br />

<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;">I also have completed a tutorial for it so that you can make one of your own to give away this holiday season......</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><i>I love giving out handmade items for the holidays...it just makes
each gift more personal. Today I am sharing a fun string art project
using lots of yummy <a data-mce-href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/category/solid-twine" href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/category/solid-twine">Solid bakers twine</a> from <a data-mce-href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/">The Twinery</a>. To get started, you will need: A board base (mine is 11 1/2 x 11 1/2), nails (mine are finish nails that are 1 1/4 inches), <a data-mce-href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/">bakers twine</a> (I used the <a data-mce-href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/product/solid-caribbean-twine-spool-240-yards" href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/product/solid-caribbean-twine-spool-240-yards">Solid Caribbean</a> and <a data-mce-href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/product/solid-pink-sorbet-twine-spool-240-yards" href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/product/solid-pink-sorbet-twine-spool-240-yards">Solid Pink Sorbet</a>), <a href="https://www.silhouettedesignstore.com/view-shape/19068" target="_blank">die cut images</a> (for template and saying).</i></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><a href="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5738/22176542334_eb3a6e3458_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="251" src="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5738/22176542334_eb3a6e3458_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><a data-mce-href="http://thetwinery.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/LAH-String-Art-2.jpg" href="http://thetwinery.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/LAH-String-Art-2.jpg"></a><i>There
is a bottle of mist in this picture because I was thinking about
staining the board, but decided against it and just used the board in
it's natural state.</i><i> </i></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><i>Measure and adhere your template in the spot where you want it on your board.</i></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><a href="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5630/22810477321_5b03d07e60_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="317" src="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5630/22810477321_5b03d07e60_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><i><br /></i></span>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><i>Next, mark where you want to put your nails. I used a paper
piercing template to get the holes as evenly spaced as I could. You
could also use a ruler.</i></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><a href="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/650/22773280106_9a543b2aeb_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/650/22773280106_9a543b2aeb_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><i></i><i>Begin nailing your nails into your board on the marks. My board is
about 1/2 inch thick and I nailed the nails almost 1/2 an inch in
leaving about 3/4 of an inch above the board. This took me about 30
minutes to complete and I only hit my thumb once. :) I have seen
someone recommend using some needle nose pliers to hold the nails up to
keep from hitting your fingers/thumb, but I found that to be too hard to
do and get the nail right where I wanted it.</i></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><a href="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/736/22176539134_3cff544e11_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/736/22176539134_3cff544e11_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><i>Once you have all the nails in place, remove the template and discard. Up next is the fun part...</i></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><a href="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5678/22178141983_ecc5b7e04f_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5678/22178141983_ecc5b7e04f_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><a href="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/775/22799268865_49c64aefbb_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="245" src="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/775/22799268865_49c64aefbb_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><i></i><i>Now, you get to tie some twine onto a nail and then go crazy. Just
weave the twine from one nail to the other. I found it was easier to
twist it around the peg at least every other one or so to keep it tight
and also to make it so it isn't very easy for the twine to slip off the
nails (in case you drop the twine a time or two like I did ;) ).</i></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><a href="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/758/22785771722_10b449a157_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/758/22785771722_10b449a157_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><i><i>When you are satisfied with how much twine you have filled the image
in with, you can then wrap it around the outside of the image and then
tie it off and snip off the tails close to the nail that you tied it
on. I wrapped an outline around the image twice, but I don't think that
it really needed it both times.</i></i></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><a href="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/772/22799265705_1937819926_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/772/22799265705_1937819926_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><i><i><i>Repeat the same steps with the heart image inside the house....don't
forget to outline it like the house when you are done (I may or may not
have done this and then had to go back and do it before I took the
picture below).</i></i></i></span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><a href="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/658/22407099229_4062f67b97_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/658/22407099229_4062f67b97_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><i><i><i><i>The only thing left is the sentiment that I adhered with foam
adhesive to give it some lift off of the wood. I was thinking about
building a frame of some sort around the edges of the wood piece, but I
haven't decided yet...what do you think?</i></i></i></i></span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: "georgia" , "times new roman" , serif;"><i><i><i><i>Here are the twine colors that I used in my project today....</i></i></i></i></span><br />

<span style="font-family: Georgia;">Hello and welcome to my stop on The Twinery's Stash your Stash blog hop. If you have come from <span style="font-size: large;"><a href="http://akeptlife.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">Jeanne Jachna's blog</a></span>, you are in the right spot. If you have just happened upon this post and would like to join us, you can hop on back to <span style="font-size: large;"><a href="http://thetwinery.com/blog" target="_blank">The Twinery blog</a></span> to get started at the beginning.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia;"><br />
</span> <span style="font-family: Georgia;">Today we are sharing how we store our twine. I actually have two places that I store my twine rolls. The first is on a pegboard system:</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia;"><a href="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5644/22564704046_f06307ab2a_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="640" src="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5644/22564704046_f06307ab2a_b.jpg" width="428" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia;"><br />
</span> <span style="font-family: Georgia;">I started by storing my twine this way when I had quite a few of them. I love how pretty they look all lined up in a row. For those who follow my blog, you may know that I just recently moved and have been setting up my scrapping space. This is one of the first things that went up because it has lots of ways to store different products. I need to get some more pegs and put up some more twine that I still have in a box from our move. Here is a closer look at the twine rolls.....</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia;"><a href="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/733/22577162892_52e8743638_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="265" src="https://farm1.staticflickr.com/733/22577162892_52e8743638_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia;"><br />
</span> <span style="font-family: Georgia;">I also was on the design team for Ribbon Carousel for a while and as compensation for my time, I received a ribbon carousel from them. I don't know if she is still making them, but here is what mine looks like with all that pretty solid bakers twine on it. </span><br />

<span style="font-size: small;"><br />
</span> <span style="font-family: Georgia;">It looks like they might still be sold on Amazon (<a href="http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B007L95PW6/ref=as_li_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1789&creative=9325&creativeASIN=B007L95PW6&linkCode=as2&tag=scrapmommy-20&linkId=6RYJ5BWNF2OCU6DV" rel="nofollow">Ribbon Carousel</a><img alt="" border="0" src="http://ir-na.amazon-adsystem.com/e/ir?t=scrapmommy-20&l=as2&o=1&a=B007L95PW6" height="1" style="border: none !important; margin: 0px !important;" width="1" />) so you might be able to get one there.</span><br />

I have a super cute project to share with you today that is posted over on the <a href="http://www.srm-stickers.blogspot.com/" target="_blank">SRM Stickers blog</a> today. I decorated this wonderful <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/3x5-Rustic-Linen-Bag-with-Lace-ea_p_4160.html" target="_blank">3x5 Rustic Linen Bag</a> from SRM Stickers....perfect for fall and Thanksgiving.</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5784/21914419058_5fef2eed6b_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="357" src="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5784/21914419058_5fef2eed6b_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br />
</span> <span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I stamped the bag with a "Thanks" the <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/Clear-StampbrBIG-Thank-You-_p_3457.html">Big Thank You<span style="background-color: white; color: #333333; line-height: 22px;"></span><b><span style="color: orange;"></span></b></a><span style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #333333;"><span style="line-height: 22px;"> <span style="color: black;">clear stamp set. To get it to stamp on the linen bag, I made sure that the stamp was well saturated with ink and then firmly stamped down and held it for a minute or so to let the ink soak into the fabric. I also added a bit of stitching from the same stamp set along the bottom of the bag.</span></span></span></span></span><br />

I also cut the pumpkins from <a href="https://www.silhouettedesignstore.com/view-shape/49837" target="_blank">THIS</a> file. I added some stamped stitches along the edges of the tag with the <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/Clear-StampbrStamped-Stitches_p_3452.html" target="_blank">Stamped Stitches</a> clear stamp set. I finished off the tag with some yummy <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/Bakers-TwinePeapod-Package_p_3995.html" target="_blank">Peapod</a> bakers twine from <a href="http://www.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">The Twinery</a> and a sentiment from the <a href="http://www.srmstore.com/SentimentFall_p_3835.html" target="_blank">Fall Sticker Sentiments</a>.</span></span></span></span></span><br />

I am sharing a fun project over on <a href="http://thetwinery.com/blog" target="_blank">The Twinery blog</a> using some of their fabulous <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">Ocean bakers twine</a>....it will be prefect for my home this coming winter.....</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5657/22297527889_79014b5e18_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5657/22297527889_79014b5e18_b.jpg" width="325" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">The <a href="https://www.silhouettedesignstore.com/view-shape/75458" target="_blank">quote</a> reads:<br />"What good is the warmth of summer without the cold of winter to give it sweetness?" - John Steinbeck</span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I found it in the Silhouette online store along with the <a href="https://www.silhouettedesignstore.com/view-shape/72806" target="_blank">birch tree background</a> and the <a href="https://www.silhouettedesignstore.com/view-shape/100546" target="_blank">sweet little birds</a> that I tied up with some pretty little <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">Ocean bakers twine</a> scarves. </span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5808/21863156243_f0baeb7f7b_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5808/21863156243_f0baeb7f7b_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I also added some <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">Ocean bakers twine</a> along the inside of the frame with strong adhesive tape for added texture and dimension. I found the frame already painted and distressed at Hobby Lobby. I then finished it off with a double <a href="http://shop.thetwinery.com/" target="_blank">Ocean bakers twine</a> bow and a button in the lower right corner. Take a closer look.....</span><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><a href="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5753/22296639508_ef2f5df916_b.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="266" src="https://farm6.staticflickr.com/5753/22296639508_ef2f5df916_b.jpg" width="400" /></a></span></div>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">There, that will be a perfect reminder for me this winter as I hope for warmer weather ahead. What about you...do you like warmer weather or are you a snowbird?</span><br />
<br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I will have a little peek into my new craft room coming up later this week....stay tuned!! </span><br />
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;"><br /></span>
<span style="font-family: Georgia,"Times New Roman",serif;">I would love it if you would leave feedback here for me as well as over at <a href="http://thetwinery.com/blog" target="_blank">The Twinery blog</a>. Thanks and have a great day!!</span><br />
