Halloween Moon Card with Peachy Keen Stamps

Hey friends!!  Today there is a new challenge up over at the Peachy Keen Stamps community and I am loving what they have come up with this month.  There is a color challenge and a sketch challenge....I used both on my card, but you can choose to do one or the other.

For the orange background, I stamped and then heat embossed with the Woodland Birch Background stamp.  I cut out the circle with my Nestabilities and then added a heat embossed witch from the September 2012 SOTM kit.  I made the moon look like it has craters by using a stylus and just drawing circles/ovals and filling them in with the stylus over a mouse pad.  I then added some shading with some ink.  The sentiment is stamped from the Spider and Web stamp set.  Take a closer look at my card....

To finish off my card, I added a bit of machine stitching, some Solid Natural bakers twine from The Twinery and a button from my stash.

I hope you can hop on over to the Peachy Keen Stamps community to join us for this super fun challenge!!

Hugs,
Amy
