Kazan's Sketch 19 and a busy, draining week here....

First of all, here is my card for Kazan’s sketch 19 this week at 2sketches4you. I loved this sketch and I have many other ideas of how I want to use it, but this is what I did with it this week….

Cardstock, pink ribbon, stamps, ink, ticket corner punch and spiral punch: Stampin’ Up!
Patterned paper: K&Company
Organdy ribbon: Joann's
Rhinestones: Michaels
Doily Lace border punch: Martha Stewart
Other: Thread and sewing machine

I also wanted to say CONGRATS to the new design team on 2sketches4you. I can't wait to see the cards they create.

What a week it has been here!! Our water heater went out and I didn’t know how much I would miss it until I didn’t have it to do laundry, dishes, and baths for the kids. We finally were able to get the plumber to get the part in (in which we had to pay rush shipping on) and he was able to come and install it yesterday. I didn’t want to go the weekend without it and I was about ready to pack up and stay at my mom’s house for the next week. Also, my poor doggy is sick. I am not sure what is wrong with her, but I called the vet and they were just about to leave the office and won’t be back until Monday, and they told me what I can do to help her get feeling better and if she isn’t doing any better by Monday, I need to take her in. I really hope that she is alright. She is almost 8 years old now. I have also been super busy with my design team commitment with Apronstrings Designs and so I haven’t had anything to post to my blog until today. I will be able to reveal my work sometime around the middle of the month.
