Dearest Dad Father's Day Card - Kazan's Sketch #28 at 2s4y

This is my card for Kazan's sketch #28 at 2 Sketches 4 You. I have been trying to come up with ideas for a Father's Day card for my dad and this sketch seemed to be a good one to work with. I got this Branch Out stamp set from Stampin' Up!® a couple of months ago, and now that I have finally used it, I can say that it is one of my favorites to play with. I have also found a new technique that I love to do because it looks awesome. It is when I cut out and emboss the oval image with my Nestabilities, I kept the die on the Very Vanilla cardstock and inked on the inside of the leaves that great vanilla colored edge on the oval shape.

Cardstock: Stampin' Up!® Very Vanilla, Kraft, Always Artichoke
Patterned Paper: Stampin' Up!® Manchester
Stamp set: Stampin' Up!® Branch Out
Inks: Stampin' Up!® Close to Cocoa, Always Artichoke, Baja Breeze
Metal embellishments: We R Memory Keepers
Punches: Stampin' Up!® small and large ovals, Stampin' Up!® spiral punch, Martha Stewart branch punch
Other: Oval Nestabilities, needle and thread, Stampin' Up!® Linen Thread
