This is my card for Kazan's sketch #28 at
2 Sketches 4 You. I have been trying to come up with ideas for a Father's Day card for my dad and this sketch seemed to be a good one to work with. I got this Branch Out stamp set from
Stampin' Up!® a couple of months ago, and now that I have finally used it, I can say that it is one of my favorites to play with. I have also found a new technique that I love to do because it looks awesome. It is when I cut out and emboss the oval image with my Nestabilities, I kept the die on the Very Vanilla cardstock and inked on the inside of the die.....it leaves that great vanilla colored edge on the oval shape.
Inks:
Stampin' Up!® Close to Cocoa, Always Artichoke, Baja Breeze
Metal embellishments: We R Memory Keepers
Other: Oval Nestabilities, needle and thread,
Stampin' Up!® Linen Thread
Gorgeous as always Amy - Love that tire swing!
