Sweet Baby Girl - Laura's Sketch 27 at 2s4u

This is my second entry for the 2 Sketches 4 You 1st Annual Ultimate Card Showdown. If you haven’t ever tried one of their sketches, now is definitely the time to do so because at the end of the month, they are going to be giving away an amazing prize package worth over $500. I decided to use the wonderful sketch by Laura on a circle card for a baby girl.

Cardstock: Stampin’ Up! ®
Patterned Paper, die cut, border stickers: My Mind’s Eye
Pearls: Michaels
Flowers: Prima
Other: Cuttlebug and embossing folder, lace, sewing machine and thread.

  44. Have just come across this card whilst looking at circle card ideas. It is truly beautiful.

My question is though, how do you manage to balance the embellishments so that the cards stands up nicely? I am having a real challenge with mine when I make them, to get them to not roll sideways. Wondered if there is a simple trick for it....

  46. Thanks for visiting my blog Amy and answering my question about balancing your card.
I did have a giggle after I had spent almost two hours adding and removing items to balance it. A hidden, self adhesive magnet did the trick though..... ;-)
