Hope - Twisted Card Sketch #13

I loved designing this card with Twisted Card Sketch #13 this week at Twisted Sketches.  I admit I almost missed it and jumped ahead a couple of weeks and designed the wrong card this time, but I caught myself just before I had to get it done and did the right one.  I will share the other one I started on with Twisted Card Sketch #15. ;)  To check out the Sketch and to play along, click HERE.

The twist this week is flourish and so I used the rhinestone trail behind the butterfly to create my flourish for the twist on the sketch.  To make the butterfly, I cut it out of clear plastic (the clam shell that the Cricut carts come in) with the Serenade and then dyed it with some Tim Holtz alcohol ink to get the colorful clear effect.

        Cardstock: Stampin' Up!
Patterned paper: I am not sure...a small scrap from my stash
        Ink: Tim Holtz alcohol inks
        Rhinestones: Michaels
        Glitter: Stickles
Die-cuts: Cricut with Serenade, Pink Journey, and Accent Essentials carts
Embossing: Cuttlebug with Swiss Dots embossing folder
Other: clear plastic and sewing machine with thread
