Taylored Expressions Blog Hop {Day 2} - Key Ingredients

Hello and welcome back for a second day of inspiration from the Key Ingredients and Bakers Dozen design teams at Taylored Expressions.  Today we are sharing projects with you that use the July Key Ingredients kits.  Here is my card.....
I made a square card at 5 x 5 inches and added the stamped and paper pieced images from the What's Cookin'? stamp set to a white circle cut with Nestabilities.  I added a little bit of shading to the images with my Prismacolor pencils for added dimension.  Here is a closer look......

If you can tell, the yellow patterned strip is paper that I crumpled up and then added as a textured embellishment.  I finished it off with a little bit of solid bakers twine from The Twinery.

If you haven't had a chance to check out the Key Ingredients kits yet, you can hop on over HERE to see them.  I love these kits because you get enough paper, cardstock, and ribbon to complete at least 16 cards and it comes packaged in a great storage case for one low cost that includes shipping.  You can also pair it with the Stamp of the Month in the Deluxe subscription for added benefit of a lower price on both kits combined and a discount all month long at Taylored Expressions.  For more details on this kit and also the Stamp of the Month, CLICK HERE.

Now it is time to hop on over to Carole Burrage's blog to see what wonderful project she is sharing today.
Here is the blog hop lineup if you get lost along the way.......
Have fun!!

Amy
