For my technique, I am sharing how to create the lovely flower stamped panel on my card using only three colors of ink.
Gather your supplies.....you will need a stamp set (I used the Kindred Spirits stamp set from The Craft's Meow), a stamping block if using acrylic stamps, three colors of ink that will compliment each other, a scratch piece of paper, and the cardstock you wish to stamp on.
First, chose your stamp and color for the first image. Ink up your stamp and stamp first on your scrap piece of paper and then immediately stamp onto your cardstock piece. Continue to do this with the stamps of your choice in the same color. You can also stamp the leaves using the same techinque (sorry I missed taking this photo).
Next, you can use the same color of green to stamp the centers of the leaves, but just stamp them directly without first stamping onto the scratch piece of paper......
Finish off by stamping the centers of the flowers with the yellow and the deeper purple color. I didn't stamp off on these two because I wanted them to be a little bolder. If you have a bolder yellow, you may want to try to stamp off first to see if you like it better.
To finish off my card, I added the new stamped panel to the front of the cardstock base and then added a strip of patterned paper along with some stitching, rhinestones, and twine. I also added the sentiment from the Kindred Spirits stamp set by heat embossing onto the darker colored cardstock base.
