Hoot Hoot Hooray!

Hey everyone!!  So sorry that my blog hasn't been as updated as usual.  Along with the end of the year school activities for the kiddos, we found out that the people that own the home that we are living in want to move back into it, so we have been busy (still) trying to find a new place to live and start the fun purging and packing.  I haven't had as much time to craft as I would like to have.

Today I am sharing a card that I created with May's Key Ingredients kit from Taylored Expressions that has the Pebbles Garden Party 6x6 papers along with the Hoot Hoot Hooray stamp set......

These cute little hooters are colored with my Copic markers and I added some white pen accents to them.  The die cut circle is done with the Spin it to Win it dies and the banner is cut with the Banner Stacklet's 2 dies.  To finish off my card, I added some hand and machine stitching along with a bit of bakers twine from The Twinery.  Here is a closer look at my card.......

I just love the way this card turned out.....if you want to get your hands on this Key Ingredients kit, you better hurry and click HERE to get it from Taylored Expressions because tomorrow will be the last day that it is available.

I will be selling lots of stamps and some crafting supplies in the next few days.  I will post here and let you know when they will be available.  If you are interested in older Stampin' Up! sets, let me know (email) if there is a set that you are looking for because I have over 100 of them that I will be selling.   You can also look at the For Sale page listed above for a list of some of the items I already have pictures of.

Hugs,
Amy

Oh Snap! : Poppy Sketch #5

Hello!!  I am excited to share my card today using Poppy Sketch #5.  We go to design with files from The Cutting Cafe for this challenge and I just ADORE the fun camera images I was sent, including this fun Polaroid.

I cut this camera image with my Silhouette Cameo machine and then assembled it....I really love the fun look of the lens with all the layered circles.  On the top circle and the viewfinder, I added some glossy accents to make it appear as glass.  The white photo frame around the camera is also from the set and cut with my Silhouette Cameo.  Take a closer look.......

For the banner at the bottom, I just cut some diamonds on my Silhouette Cameo and then used my Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots embossing folder to emboss it.

Here is a peek at the sketch challenge with a POP of color that you will find over at the Poppy Sketches blog:

Happy Birthday Tutu You with Peachy Keen Stamps

Hey Peachy friends!!  This I get to share this fun birthday card for a little girl using the Sweet and Innocent face assortment over at the Peachy Keen Stamps blog.

I cut the little ballerina image with my Cricut and the Create a Friend cartridge.  I added some tulle to the tutu and also a layer over the patterned paper for added texture.  For the face, I added some white pen accents and some chalk to the cheeks.  Take a closer look at this little sweetheart......

The sentiment is from the June 2012 SOTM.  To finish off my card, I added some pen stitching, glitter glue to the wand and a rhinestone to the flower on the head band along with some ribbon and a button at the top of the card.

I hope you have a great day!!

Hugs,
Amy

Blog Hop with The Twinery and Top Dog Dies

Hello and welcome to my stop on this super fun blog hop with The Twinery and Top Dog Dies!!  If you have come from Monika Wright's Blog, you are in the right spot.  If this is your first stop and would like to join us for inspiring projects and a chance to win some fabulous prizes, hop on back to the Top Dog Dies blog to get started today.

For my project, I got to work with the Pretty Petals and Vintage Alphabet die sets from Top Dog Dies along with some of the beautiful Solid Strawberry and Solid Honeydew bakers twine from The Twinery.

I used the Vintage Alphabet die and ran it through my Cuttlebug machine.  I carefully removed the die from my cardstock piece and then carefully took out the H and I pieces.  I then cut another piece of white cardstock, just smaller than the one I die cut with the letters and added some strong adhesive all over the front of it.

I then laid some of the Solid Strawberry and Solid Honeydew bakers twine where I knew the H and I would be.  I then carefully placed the whole sheet of die cut letters over the top of it (lining up the H and I over the twine).  Two of the letters fell out (O and B), but I just carefully put them back where they were and the adhesive that I had on the back cardstock piece held it in really well.

I then cut out the Pretty Petal flowers and then distressed them a bit, then layered them on top of the die cut letters in the bottom right corner with rhinestone centers and some looped Solid Honeydew bakers twine from The Twinery.

May Stamp of the Month Blog Hop with Taylored Expressions

Hello and welcome to my stop on the Taylored Expressions Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!!  I am so loving the stamp of the month which is called Bloom and Grow.  It coordinates so well with this month's Key Ingredients kit.  I used them both to create the card below......

I also used the coordinating die set, called Hello Blooms, to cut out the stamped butterfly image.  The frame piece is cut with the Label Stacklet 3 dies that were cut with two different sized dies and then adhered to the focal point with foam adhesive.  The paper and cardstock along with the sweet little flower piece on the butterfly are all included in the Key Ingredients kit.  Take a closer look at my card......

To finish off my card, I added some stitching with my sewing machine and also some white satin ribbon.

Did you know that you can get the Key Ingredients kit and the Stamp of the Month combined into one Deluxe Kit??  You get all everything that comes in both kits along at a lower price and some extras not offered with the individual kits.  Here is a look at them side by side so you can see how well they coordinate......

On the fun little raccoon and campfire, I used my Copic markers to color them in and a little bit of white pen accents.  Here is a closer look at them.....

Peachy Keen Stamps are Outta This World!

Today there is a new challenge up over at Peachy Keen Stamps and it is my favorite kind.....a sketch challenge. YAY!!  The sketch is great and I went a little simple with it and used the Happy Trails Spaceship stamp set on my card.

I colored the space ship image with my Copic markers and added some white pen details.  Tthe patterned paper squares are cut from the I {heart} Summer 6x6 pad from Simple Stories.  Take a closer look at the space ship image....

I cut out the image and added it and the white circle to the card with foam adhesive for a little added dimension.

I hope you can hop on over to the Peachy Keen Community to join us in the wonderful challenge.  I would love to see what you create.

Hugs,
Amy
