For You - Monochromatic Card

I enjoy going outdoors and spending time in my garden or going to the park with the kids, but I still need to come back and spend some time in my scrapbook room or else it (and I) will feel neglected.  ;)  What better way to combine the two than to take pictures of my creations outside.  They provide a pleasant backdrop and the lighting is great.  I created this card from Sketch 174 at CPS.   I decided to go monochromatic for this card and I love the way it looks.  I used the glossy white paper from SU! and clear embossed the flowers.  I then used a brayer and put down the Tempting Turquoise ink over the top and then wiped the excess away from the embossed flowers with a paper towel.  The flower on the bottom is from the scalloped circle punch and I cut a little in on each of the scallops to create the petals for the flower.
Cardstock, stamps, ink, embossing powder, punches: Stampin' Up!
Embossing: Cuttlebug Swiss Dots embossing folder
        Adhesives: Tombo Mono, Glue Dots
        Other: button, thread

Thanks for stopping by and for your comments.  I really appreciate them.  Also, don't forget about MY GIVEAWAY.
