Remember.........

Whew!!  What a week I have had.  Last night and all day today my baby has been quite sick and pretty much stuck to mom.  I always feel so bad when my babies are sick....especially my littlest one because she doesn't understand the concept of being sick.  I have also been taking care of so many DT projects lately.  I will get to share them with you in a little bit.

I took a little break from doing design team work to make a card for CPS sketch 203.  I rotated the sketch for my card.  I stamped with acrylic paint onto fabric.....it was messy, but fun and I love the texture.  I was quite happy with it until my dear husband told me that this is the first card that I have made that looks like it was done by a child.  =(

What do you think??

Here is a little bit of a close up:

I even completed the inside of the card with the rest of the sentiment from the newly released SRM Stickers:

      Supplies:
        Cardstock, stamp, ink: Stampin' Up!
        Stickers: SRM Stickers
Die cut label: Cricut Expression with
          Once Upon A Princess cartridge
Other: fabric, thread, needle, raffia, button
Thanks for stopping by!!

  1. Awww sorry to hear your baby is not well... Mine are grown up now, but I still remember when one one of them was so bad and stayed up all night clinging to me. But that's what mummies are for :)
And your card is gorgeous, can't understand why he said that, it's beautiful.. but the important thing is that you enjoyed doing it. I also love to make a card or two now and then which are not for DTs and I enjoy doing these so much. Hugs xxx

  5. I think it's really beautiful. Those kinds of cards are always hard for me to make, but I really like that sentiment.
