Birthday Card for CPS

How is your Saturday going??  I have been slowly getting the house clean with all the depressing weather around.  I would like to boot Old Man Winter out the door and usher in Spring as soon as possible.  We have had about 10 inches of snow and it is still coming down.  I thought it would be fun to do this card with happy spring colors and hopefully it will change the weather's mind and make it want to bring spring on by.  I used CPS Sketch 212 for my card.  This is a tall card and it measures 4 x 9 inches.
Cardstock, twine, stamp, marker - Stampin' Up!
Die cuts - Cricut with Birthday Bash cartridge
        Sticker sentiment - SRM Stickers
        Embossing - Cuttlebug
        Ink - Versamark
        Gel pen - Signo Uni-ball

Let me know if Spring has reached where you live.....maybe we will consider moving there....LOL

  1. Darn but that's cute!! Love the pops of color against the kraft paper.

  2. Love your card...those spring colors just pop out against the kraft paper! Spring has made it to Alabama and summer is knocking at the door! We are already getting 80 degrees and better...AC is on already. Power bills are going to be horrible!

  3. This is super cute!! I love that adorable little birdie sitting on top of the pennant banner!! Thanks for joining us at the CPS Sketch blog this week! ♥♥♥

  4. kansas.. but we have wind too! soon.. (I hope) you'll see the birds and flowers! we've already mowed our lawn 2x
LOVE the card. I really need to expand the banner idea on my cards!

  5. So cute! Love the banner and the size of the card... I'm inspired to make my next card that size!

I can tell you where else NOT to move... Cleveland, Ohio! It's supposed to be 78 today, but I'll believe it when I see it! It's been in the 40's and low 50's, and we did have snow week before last! (Of course during my "spring" break) Hang in there, spring will eventually be here!

  6. Very cute card! Will have to try a card that size.
Been in the 70's and 80's here in So. In.
    Spring is on it's way!!!

  7. Cute card...I like how you used the colors on the kraft paper. TFS! I'm an email follower of your blog so I don't post a lot, but thought I drop over and leave a comment tonite.
I live in ND and it isn't spring yet. Before this past week, my yard was still covered in snow. A lot has melted now w highs from the 30's to up to 50 one day...the next issue is flooding. So I guess you probably won't want to move here...I'm tired of winter too.
