A Masculine Birthday Card For My Hubby

So, my hubby's birthday was the other day and I generally struggle with birthday cards for him and other adult male relatives.  I have the Camp Out cartridge for my Cricut and it was perfect to use on this card.  My husband is a hiker and a general outdoorsman, so he loved this card.
Cardstock: Stampin' Up! (green, tan), Bazzill (dark brown)
        Patterned paper: Fancy Pants
Die cuts: Cricut with Camp Out and Stamping cartridges
        Border punch: Fiskars
        Ink: Colorbox Fluid Chalk
        Brads: Stampin' Up!
Other: embroidery floss, corrugated cardboard, hemp twine

I used sketch 189 at Mojo Monday for my card.  I am also entering this in the My Pink Stamper Challenge #2. Thanks for stopping by!!

  1. I struggle with masculine cards too. This card is great! Love the pine cone and the fun papers you used!

  2. I love it! Great textures, especially.

  3. I have the same problem but love your card. Maybe I will add the camping/outdoors cart to my wish list

  4. Happy Mother's Day! I have trouble making masculine cards. I always turn to bling and flowers. Thanks for sharing this idea :)

  5. OH, what a fantastic masculine card! I love it. Thanks for playing Mojo Monday :)

Thanks for visiting my blog. I really appreciate the time you take to leave a comment. ;)
