Fall Treats with My Creative Time

Hello and welcome back....this is my second post for the day, of you missed the first one, scroll down and check it out, too (another fun fall project).

Today is 3D Wednesday over on the My Creative Time blog.  I thought it would be fun to create some fun fall themed treats for my kiddos and here is what I came up with using the Stitched Lollipop Holder......seriously one of my most favorite and versatile dies....

I really LOVE the color combo I used on these with the orange, turquoise, brown, and white.  Turquoise has always been one of my favorite colors, but who knew they went so well with the others that I used here??  I used a Sizzix woodgrain embossing folder on the kraft colored lollipop holders and then added some chalk ink to them to help the embossing stand out a bit more.  I also used the Scallop and Stitched Circle dies at the top of the holders.....

The stamped image as well as the leaves are from the Piles of Smiles stamp and die set.  I stamped the leaf in the middle of the sentiment on the patterned paper and then cut it out to adhere to over the plain leaf in the center of the stamped image.

I finished off the holders with some tied raffia (to hold the suckers in) and a button on the leaves.  Here is a final look at my super fun project......

Hop on over to the My Creative Time blog to check out what the other designers are sharing today, too.  I hope your day is AWESOME!!

Hugs,
Amy
