Life is Good Chevron Card

Today is Inspiration Tuesday over on the My Creative Time blog....it is a day where we share with you a project that we have created and then show you where we got our inspiration from.  Today I have a fun card using the Life Is Good stamp set along with the Build A Chevy Background stamp sets........

I found the inspiration for my card while I was at church the other day.  A lady sitting in front of me had a bag that looks similar to the one I found in THIS ETSY SHOP:

I used the Build A Chevy Background stamp set to replicate the chevron pattern on the bag and then added some navy blue.  I thought it would be fun to add a little bit of zig zag stitching to mimic the chevron pattern and also to give it a little bit of texture.

The ribbon is from May Arts and the Solid Natural bakers twine is from The Twinery.  The cardstock that I used is from Bazzill.

I hope that you are inspired to look around you to find inspiration for your next project.  Hop on over to the My Creative Time blog to check out what Emma and the rest of the design team have been created and are inspired by.

Hugs,
Amy
