September Release with The Craft's Meow {Day 2}

It is day 2 of the September release sneak peeks at The Craft's Meow and up next is a wonderful fall set called Speaking of Fall.  Like I said in yesterday's post, Fall is tied with spring for my favorite time of the year, but it is my favorite season to create projects for.  Here is a look at the card I created with this very versatile set......

 I used the same technique on this card as I did for my blog hop card HERE to create the different shades on the leaves and the outlines with the same ink pad.  Here is a closer look at my card and the sentiment.......

 I added some embossing with a Quickutz embossing folder to the yellow cardstock and the rectangle images that the sentiment is mounted on are cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities.  I added some stitching with my sewing machine and then finished it off with some raffia tied around the card.

    Amy your card is SOOOOO pretty! I could just jump right into that scene! Love the contrast of the embossed panel, striped thin strip and then the leaves. Lovely!

    Very cute! Love the stitching, I do a lot of stitching like this on my cards and layouts!
