Stamp of the Month Blog Hop with Taylored Expressions

Hello and welcome to my stop on the blog hop with Taylored Expressions.  Today we are showcasing projects done with the September Stamp of the Month called Sending Smiles.   I really love how well this stamp set goes with the September Key Ingredients kit.  I used both on my card that I am sharing today.......

I used my Copic markers to color in the flower image that is in the September SOTM.  The label is cut with a die from Lifestyle Crafts.  I used some foam adhesive to pop the image off of the card for added dimension as well as a little foam adhesive under the label.  The sentiment is also stamped with the Sending Smiles stamp set.  The patterned paper, cardstock and ribbon are all included in the September Key Ingredients kit.  Here is a closer look at my stamped image......

I added some distressing to the black and white polka dot patterned paper before adhering it to my card.  I used my sewing machine to add some stitching to finish off the card.  Here is a look at the Stamp of the Month for September:

Take a look at how well the two combine in the Deluxe Subscription (Key Ingredients and SOTM):

As we continue the month-long Birthday Bash at Taylored Expressions, we have some fun birthday gifts to give. Each of the designers on today's hop will be giving away the card they are showcasing to one lucky reader. If you like the card I've made for today, simply leave a comment here on my blog before 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 12th and you'll be entered into a drawing to win it. Winners will be announced on the TE blog on Friday morning.
Here is the blog hop line-up:
