What Up Chickie? with Peachy Keen Stamps

Hello Friends, today I get to share a fun peachy face card using the new Chickie Face Assortment stamps over at the Peachy Keen Stamps blog.

First, I cut out some white eggs at about 2 inches with my Cricut die cut machine and the Cricut Basic Shapes cartridge along with some yellow ovals, just slightly smaller than the eggs.  I stamped the 1 inch faces from the Chickie Face Assortment set on each yellow oval.....adding pen and chalk details to each face.  I cut across each egg in a zig zag pattern and then glued a yellow stamped oval behind each egg.

I cut out some small strips of light yellow paper for straw and added some wood paneling to my card with some wood embossed kraft cardstock that I embossed with a Sizzix embossing folder.  To finish off the card, I added a sentiment from the Faceless Chicken stamp set and a little bit of Buttercream bakers twine from The Twinery.

Now, I am ready for spring.  How about you??  I would love it if you hopped on over to the Peachy Keen Stamps blog and left a little comment love for me over there, too.

Hugs,
Amy
