Winter Snow Globe Shaker Card

Hello!!  Today I am sharing a card that I created with some of the new October releases from Taylored Expressions.  I am actually quite excited for snow....imagine that!  I am not a huge fan of winter.....really, it is my least favorite season, but this year I think I will like the cooler weather and can't wait to see some snow.  I know....am I sick?  To celebrate these crazy feelings of mine, here is a super fun snow shaker card that uses the new Snow globe stamp and die along with the new Ready, Set, Snow stamp set that nests perfectly in the snow globe.

The images are colored in with my Copic markers and a bit of white pen details.  I love that you can take this Snow Globe die and use it to make a shaker card because it comes in two pieces....you can use them separately or together to make a window like I did for my snow globe image.  I just added a little bit of glitter and it was easy peasy!!

Here is a closer look at my card......

I used papers from the new Gingerbread Lane 6x6 paper pack...I think that they compliment this stamp set perfectly.  To finish off my card, I added a bit of background stitching, some ribbon and then tied a bit of Peapod bakers twine from The Twinery around the base of the snow globe.

So, what do you think??  I am loving how easy it was to make this and I will be making more shaker snow globe cards to give out this holiday season.

Have a great day!!

Hugs,
Amy
