Flashback Friday's Blog Hop Celebration!!

Welcome to the Flashback Friday 20.0 blog hop celebration!!  If you are here from Yvonne's blog, you are in the right place, but if not and you would like to join in and have a chance at some wonderful prizes, CLICK HERE to start at the beginning and to get all the details.

I am really excited to get to join ~amy~ along with the other guest designers for Flashback Friday for this fun blog hop.  The theme for Flashback Friday 20.0 is Black and White.  You need to post a picture of your first Black and White card.  Well, I searched my archives on the blog and guess what.....I couldn't find a single card that is just black and white and I knew that I had created one at some point.  I dug into my card stash and sure enough there was one in there that I had partially created for a challenge a while ago and never posted because it was late.  I just added the the sticker sentiment to finish off the card.....

So, would you like a *peek* at the wonderful prizes that are up for grabs??

Click on the banner below to get started on the hop plus all the details on how to enter for the yummy goodies pictured above, but if you are already on your way through, hop on over to Karin's blog to see what she has to share with you.........and don't forget to leave your comment below......

Hugs,
Amy

Flashback Friday 17.0 - Banners

Hello friends!!  I am back today with a card for the new Flashback Friday challenge.  If you didn't see my earlier post today with some exciting news and the winner for my most recent giveaway, CLICK HERE.  The challenge for Flashback Friday 17.0 is to post your first banner project.  I scrolled back and the first one I could find on my blog was from a card from a year and a half ago.....it is still one of my favorite cards.  I can't believe that it took me that long to finally use a banner on one of my projects.

You can see a close up of the card plus all the details on my original post HERE.  I would like to wish Amy from Flashback Friday Challenges a very Happy Blogaversary!!  We have been blogging  friends for a long time.  Maybe one day we will get a chance to meet in person.   =)  Thanks for stopping by!!

Flashback Friday 14.0 - Gift Card Holder

Today a new challenge is posted over on the Flashback Friday Challenge blog......to re-post your first gift card holder.  Now, this is not my first one....it is actually the second one I made, I just forgot to take a picture of the first one before I gave it away, but it was the same kind of gift card holder.  This gift card holder was posted originally in July of 2010.  As a bonus, I even have a tutorial on how to make this type of gift card holder that you can find by clicking HERE to the original post.

The front stamps are from MFT and the background stamp along with all the other supplies are from Stampin' Up!

I have been busy with family activities and design team projects that I get to share with you at a later date......plus I plan on doing a little giveaway next week....stay tuned!!

Hugs,
Amy

Flashback Friday 11.0

How has your weekend been??  I have been purging and organizing my scrapping room as well as the rest of my house in hopes that if I do enough spring cleaning, spring will actually decide to show up around here.  ;)

I did want to share this card with you that I am re-posting for the Flashback Friday Challenge 11.0 which is to re-post your first wedding card.  This is a wedding card that I created for my cousin and his wife back in January 2010.  This is the first wedding card that I made and actually took a picture of (there were a couple others that I made long ago, but I didn't get pics taken of them before I gave them away).  I love playing along at Flashback Friday.....how fun to go back into the archives and find jewels like this one that I get to share with you all over again.....

You can see all the details of this card and what challenge I completed it for HERE.  Also, don't forget to try out the lovely sketch my daughter did for a chance to win a prize HERE.

Flashback Friday 7.0

WooHoo!!  I am the guest designer for Flashback Friday 7.0!!

Hop on over and join us for some flashback fun.  The best part of the Flashback Friday challenges is that you don't need to create something new.  You just have to re-post a project from your past and you have a chance to win some fabulous goodies!!

Flashback Friday 7.0 is being sponsored by JenMarie Taylor of

{ippity} Stamps

and here are the yummy stamps that you can win:

The challenge is to share your first glitter project.  I had to dig deep into my archives of photos and I was able to come up with this layout from September 2006!!  I started to scrapbook in 2003, but I didn't really get going and filling my scrapbooks until 2006......this layout pre-dates my blog, so it has not even been posted to here, so for most of you, this will be the first time you see it.  ;)

Wow, what a flashback.....this is a layout of my oldest when she was just 1.  She will be 7 in about two months.  It is kind of hard to see, but I used glitter on the title for this layout.  This was before I discovered stickles and so I had glitter everywhere for weeks!!  I can't wait to see what your first glitter projects are....be sure to re-post them and link them up on the Flashback Friday 7.0 challenge post on the Flashback Friday blog by the deadline (February 4th) in order to be in the running for the fabulous prize.

Hugs,

Flashback Friday 6.0

This is my first time playing along with the Flashback Friday Challenge.  I have been watching as Amy Tsutura has had them on her blog.  She just moved the challenge to a new blog and as I was browsing the new blog, I thought I would play along.  It was quite the challenge for me to find something for this challenge, which is:
"The first card you blogged about that featured an unexpected find from your home"

This card is from January 2009.  You see those two pins there above the image.....those are pins that I dug out of my grandma's sewing kit.  Up until then, I pretty much stayed with the standard scrapping goodies.  You can click HERE to see the rest of the details on this card.

Check back later today....there is a fun blog hop with goodies up for grabs.  I will see you soon!!

Hugs,
