Jinger Adams' Design Team Call - Birthday Shoe

Hello everyone!!  I am sharing a project I made for the Jinger Adams' Design Team Call.  I know that she loves shoes and I saw the adorable 3-d shoe on the Princess Party cartridge and knew that I wanted to make one with a matching card to go with it for the design team application.
I sprayed both the 3D shoe and the one on the card with some Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist to add some shine.  I used my sewing machine and some pink thread to sew on the card. The banner is cut from the Craft Room Exclusive Banner cartridge and the yellow scallop is from Elegant Edges.  I used Card Patterns Sketch 158 as a layout for my card.  The sentiment is from the Gift Card Sentiments at My Creative Time.  I just love how easy it is to manipulate the clear stamps to bend and curve like the banner.
I made the crinkle ribbon from some white seam binding and the Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist.  The embossing is done with my Cuttlebug and the Polka Dots embossing folder.  The patterned paper is from Echo Park.
I added some chocolate covered raisins to the inside of the shoe as a little treat for the recipient.  I tied off the goodie bag with some Pink Sorbet bakers twine from The Twinery.   I added some white crinkle ribbon to the edges of the shoe for a little flair.  The tag and sentiment are from the Teeny Tag Greetings at My Creative Time.
To the center of the flowers I have added some Stickles Glitter Glue and then tied a bow with some more of the pink crinkle ribbon and added it to the back of the shoe with a button.

Well, I hope that you have enjoyed my project today.  There is still a little bit of time left to get your applications in for the design team call.  I think it closes tomorrow night.

I wanted to finish off by sharing a picture from the first time I met Jinger at the Scrapbook USA Expo a couple of years ago.  She really is super sweet!!

Amy

Paper Easter Basket - 3-D Wednesday at My Creative Time (Plus a Winner)

It is time for another 3-D Wednesday on the My Creative Time blog.  I made this super fun Easter Basket with my Cricut Expression 2 and the Tags Bags Boxes and More 2 cartridge (I am really loving this cartridge) along with the awesome Build a Banner stamp and die set from My Creative Time.  The basket is cut at 7 inches with the Box Section feature on the cartridge.

After I cut out the basket pieces, I misted a little bit of yellow glimmer mist to make the basket sparkly.  You can't see that very well in the photos, but there is a hint of sparkle all over it.   I cut out the "Easter" with my Criuct Mini and the Cricut Craft Room Exclusive: Easter Magic Cartridge and altered it a little in Cricut Craft room to make it a little taller.  I then used the Cricut Craft Room Exclusive: Banners cartridge to cut out the banner behind Easter.  I stamped the letters with some of the same colored ink and the Build A Banner from My Creative Time and inked them up a little and added pen stitching to both the letters and the banner.

I created the banner with the Build A Banner from My Creative Time and tied it all up with some yummy Orchid bakers twine from The Twinery to two skewers (what a great use of an item from the kitchen).  The stamps on the banner don't show up very well, but I used the same color of ink as the cardstock to give it a subtle look......

I added some Easter grass to the basket along with some plastic eggs.  Easter is less than 3 weeks away.  I think that I am going to use this as a center piece for my table through Easter.  What do you think??

I hope you can hop on over to the My Creative Time blog to see what the other designers have created for 3-D Wednesday.

I am entering this in the Ribbon Carousel Challenge RCC45:

I almost forgot, I need to get the winner for the 6x6 Echo Park paper pad from the My Creative Time blog hop on Friday.  The winner via random.org is:

Guest Designer for Liz at Liz's Paper Loft

Hello everyone!!  I am excited to be today's guest designer for Liz over at Liz's Paper Loft.  I have known Liz, through blogging, for a couple of years now and I just love her style.  She is also one of my fellow team members on the super talented My Creative Time design team.  She has guest designers for the next couple of months because she had to have surgery and cannot craft.  I really hope that she has a speedy recovery because I miss seeing her fab projects.  Today, I am going to share a card that I made with the new You Are Perk-fect stamp set.

I used my Cricut and the Love you a Latte cartridge to cut out this to-go coffee cup.  I welded two of the cups together in Cricut Craft Room and then sewed all the edges together with my sewing machine.

The label is cut and stamped from My Creative Time's Fancy Frame Stamp & Die Set.  I then stamped the sentiment along with two of the cute little coffee beans inside of that and adhered it to the front of the cup with some dimensional adhesive.

I added a smaller to-go coffee cup to slip inside the two larger ones and added then the lid to the top of it so that it could easily be pulled out.  I also stamped another sentiment from the You Are Perk-fect stamp set to the inside of the card and tied the top off with some Cappuccino bakers twine from The Twinery.

I hope that I have inspired you to pull out some stamps and your Cricut and get crafting today......it is national craft month after all!!

So, I hear that Liz has some exciting news to share with you, but not quite yet.  However, in the meantime, while she's recovering, she is reading every comment!  Not only is she reading them, she's counting them, because at the end of all this, she will have two announcements!  The first will be a winner of some exciting BLOG CANDY!  The second, it's a big one...and no, she's not coming out with stamps...you just have to wait and see!  Hop on over and leave some comments for her.

Thanks to Liz for letting me come and participate as a guest designer on her blog today!!

My Creative Time - March Stamp Release Blog Hop

Welcome to my blog!!  I am so excited to get to share with you this project that I made with the newest stamp sets from Miss Emma at My Creative Time.  Check them out!!

I used the awesome new Coffee Break with the fab die to create the coffee cups along with the stamped background on the tag.  The background stamp on the card (that matches the tag) is from the new Coffee Backgrounds stamp set.  The sentiment comes from the new You Are Perk-Fect stamp set.

I have found a fun new product to use, too.......Shrinky Dinks!!  I die cut them by running some though my Cuttlebug with the die in the Coffee Break stamp set and then stamped with the stamps from that same set.  Be sure to punch a big hole, because it will shrink, too.  I then baked them in my oven to make these fun little charms for a friend.  See how little they shrink to (it was the same size as the latte on the card)....they also thicken up to make a perfect little charm.  I colored them with my Prismacolor pencils before I baked them.  This tag is cut with my Cricut and the Wedding Shower cartridge.  I used one of the stamps for the coffee cup in the Coffee Break stamp set for the tag background.
Here is a peek at the awesome new Coffee Break stamp set with the die:

Tea/Tee Time - My Creative Time Release Week!!

It is time for another FABULOUS Release Week at My Creative Time.  This newest release is so awesome!!  I can't wait to share my card with you.  I used the new Tea Party stamp set from My Creative Time for the sentiment.

The tee is cut with my Cricut Mini from Everyday Paper Dolls and the ball is just a basic circle (from George and Basic Shapes) that I embossed with my Cuttlebug and Polka Dots embossing folder.  The tea cup is cut from Love You A Latte cartridge and embossed again with my Cuttlebug and a border embossing folder.

The base is cut from Elegant Edges that I altered in Cricut Craft Room with a rectangle at the top to take off the top scallops.  I also did this for the shadow.   I added some stitching from my sewing machine and a little bit of Flax colored bakers twine from The Twinery.

Here is a peek at the new Tea Party Stamp set:

A True Friend - Country Style with GIVEAWAY!!

Hey everyone!!  I am so super excited to get the chance to be guest blogger today on Everyday Cricut.  The My Creative Time design team was invited to guest design this week by Joy and Melaine.  I have been a long time follower there and love to see what all of the talented designers and guest designers share with us every day.

My card today is 5 x 5 inches.  I used my Cricut Imagine and the Imagine More Cards cartridge with the George and Basic Shapes cartridge to cut the red gingham square at 4.5 inches.  I then stamped in brown with the new Spring Chicken Backgrounds chicken wire stamp from My Creative Time (check below on how you can win this stamp set) onto some white cardstock and then inked and distressed the edges on both papers.  I then sewed them together with my sewing machine with some brown thread.  I adhered these two to the 5 x 5 inch kraft cardstock base.

The chicken and pig are cut with my Cricut Expression 2 and the Country Life cartridge at 3.5 inches.  I pieced the layers together and then added some ink to the edges and pen details.  I tied a large linen ribbon around the card and added a button and some bakers twine from The Twinery.  I adhered the pig and chicken die cuts with foam adhesive.  I then stamped my sentiment with the Many Greetings Stamp set from My Creative Time onto a strip of white cardstock and distressed the edges a little with some brown ink.  I added a couple of antique brads and then adhered it to my card with some more more foam adhesive.

Now, who is ready for a fab giveaway??  I have a set of the new Spring Chicken Background stamps to give to one lucky commenter, courtesy of Emma at My Creative Time.  You will get one entry for leaving a comment below this post and then another entry if you leave a comment under the same post on Everyday Cricut.  So there is two chances for you to win.  Don't forget to leave a way for me to contact you if you are the winner.  =)

*I will be drawing a winner on Wednesday 3/14

Fancy Many Thanks - PDCC121

Hey friends!!  I have another lovely card to share with you today.  I was really inspired by PDCC121 at The Play Date Cafe for this card.....I absolutely LOVE the color combo in this one.  I used my Cricut with Sophie and Flower Shoppe cartridges as well as some bakers twine from The Twinery and a fab little fancy SRM Sticker for the sentiment.

I REALLY LOVE this card.  The embossing is a sizzix embossing folder and I added some sand colored ink to the folder before I embossed the white cardstock for a fun look.  I also inked up a doily with some pink ink for a fun look.

Don' forget that I have a giveaway going on until tomorrow.  You can find the details HERE.  Also, I have a really fun post going up tomorrow morning and there will be another giveaway to go with it.  ;)

You Did It!! A Happy Gnome Card

Have you had a chance to check out the latest release of Peachy Keen Stamps yet??  I am just loving the gnome and garden theme.  Today I get to share a post over on the Peachy Keen Stamps blog and I used the new Teamwork set.
Isn't it the cutest??  I just love coloring these images with my Copic markers.  For the background, I freehand cut it (with the exception of the clouds.....I used circle punches on the blue so that the white would show through).  I heat embossed with the Mushroom Soup background stamp and added this fun little dry embossed path with the fun sentiment.  I also added some pen stitching to the background and white Gelly Roll pen accents to the colored images.  I finished it off with some fun Lemondrop bakers twine from The Twinery.

You want to know what the best part about this card is??  It moves!!  I used one of the fun Action Wobblers......see it in action......

Well, I hope that you have enjoyed your visit today.  This is actually my second post for the day, so don't forget to see my other post.  Also, I have a giveaway going on right now and I hope that you will stop by to check it out HERE.  Thanks so much for visiting!!

Gnome Sweet Gnome

So, how is your weekend going??  Did you know that March is National Craft Month??  What a great 'excuse' to get some more time in our scrappy spaces to create.  Right now, I am busy on several projects that I can't wait to share with you.  Today I have this fun 4 by 4 inch card that I created with March Kit of the Month at Peachy Keen Stamps.

I paper pieced the mushroom and added a little color to the windows and door with Stampin' Up! markers.  The flower has a little bit of yellow glitter glue added to the center.  I also added a brass colored brad for the door handle.  Here is a close up:

I added a little stitching with my sewing machine, added some more polka-dotted pattern paper and tied it all up with some linen ribbon.

I was inspired to create this card from the current Tuesday Trigger: Home Sweet Home at Moxie Fab World.  I used the colors, patterns, and texture for the inspiration.  Plus, don't forget about the giveaway I have going on right now....CLICK HERE for the details.

Did you know that Peachy Keen Stamps has a 25% off sale going on until 8pm Centeral Time on Sunday March 4th??  Hurry over so you don't miss out on this sale!!
