Hello friends!! Today I get to share fun Christmas card on both the Peachy Keen Stamps blog and the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge Blog. This first card uses the November Stamp Kit of the Month........
The sweet little reindeer, tree branches and sentiment are all stamped with the November kit. I colored the reindeer with my Copic markers. I also added some white pen accents with the Sakura Gelly Roll pen. Here is a closer shot.....
For the tree, I stamped the branch stamp from the November kit in several different places to make it look like a tree. I added some stickles and Viva Decor pearl pen accents for ornaments. the presents are just a square and a rectangle cut with my paper trimmer and then I tied soem ribbon on them.
This second card is for the new challenge up at the Peachy Keen Stamps challenge blog. The challenge this week is to create a shaped card. I created this one with my Cricut and the Snow Flakey stamp set from Peachy Keen Stamps.....
I added a banner and some snowflakes and the word joy for the sentiment. I tied the banner with some bakers twine from The Twinery and glued it to the snowman's hands. Here is another shot....
I hope that you have enjoyed my cards today and that your holidays are filled with happiness!!

Amy

Oh My, Pumpkin Pie!!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!! I know that it is near the end of the holiday, but I wanted to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!! So many things have been happening here that make me truly thankful for the loved ones that I have in my life (I will share a little more below). Because of everything going on, I haven't had much time to make things to share with you. I do have this fun layout that I created last year for the Cricut Circle magazine of my two oldest enjoying their Pumpkin Pie a few years ago.
So, as I mentioned at the first of this post, some of the things that are going on around here are that we have lost two members of our family this last week, my cousin in a tragic freak accident and also with my mother-in-law passed away late last night. All this on top of the fact that we are trying to pack up and move a considerable distance in the next week and a half. I am so very emotionally drained at this point. I haven't had much mojo to craft even if I did have the time to, thankfully I do have some projects that I haven't shared here on my blog that I get to share over the next couple of weeks along with a couple of DT assignments. ;)
Also, our funds are running low with this move and all the traveling we have been doing with funerals and such, so if there is something on my FOR SALE page that you are interested in buying from me, I would be happy to pack it up and ship it to you. I do have a paypal account, so that could be done quickly. I will be adding much more over the next week or so. I have over 150 Stampin' Up! stamp sets that I am wanting to sell, too. Most, if not all, are retired and so if there is a set that you are looking for, EMAIL ME and let me know.....I might just have it in my stash. ;)
I am also so very thankful to you, my blog readers. I love getting on and seeing the comments you leave for me. They help help to brighten my day inspire me to create more to share. Thanks so much!!
Hugs,
Amy

Heart Full of Wonder with the Jinger Adams Collection
Hello!! Today I get to share another fun project over on the Jinger Adam's blog that uses the Gypsy Queen papers and embellishments along with Jinger's fab Pop-Out Easel Card.
I stitched and inked around the edges of the paper and added some lace to the bottom of the sentiment piece that is one of the fab tags that is in the front of the Gypsy Queen paper pack. I matted it over a blue cardstock square.
Here is a closeup shot of the embellishments and sentiment.....
I also tied some red ribbon around the card for added texture and to help draw out the red in the sentiment.
Here is a pic of the card set up......
So, what do you think?? I really love how easy it is to pull together an 3D type of card with these pre-made ones from Jinger. She has 6 different styles. You can see the whole collection HERE.
Hugs,
Amy

If you are looking for the Peachy Keen Stamps Thankful Blog Hop
Hello and welcome!! The Taylored Expressions Key Ingredients Kit is a monthly subscription that contains enough coordinating patterned paper, cardstock, ribbon, and various embellishments to create at least 16 cards. This November kit has a beautiful 6x6 pad from Jillibean Soup called Grandma's Lima Bean Soup. I really love these papers!! Here is a closer look at my card....
The tree, heart, and sentiment are all stamped from the Falling For You stamp set from Taylored Expressions that was Exclusive for subscribers to the Key Ingredients at 50% off last month (and is still available to Key Ingredient subscribers through today). Another added perk to the Key Ingredients subscription is that Subscribers will receive 10% off everything at the TE Store during the monthly discount period along with FREE SHIPPING on additional orders placed during this time. If you are coming from Leanne's blog, you are in the right place.....if you just happened upon my post and would like to join in this super fun blog hop, then hop back to the Peachy Keen Stamps blog to get started and to see all the details.
I really LOVE Thanksgiving. It is my favorite holiday and so I wanted to make something special that I can put on the table for the dinner guests. I created these fun place settings to share with you today and my guests on Thanksgiving........
I used some 4 1/2 x 6 3/4 inch glassine bags and I sprayed them with some Tattered Angels mists to give the bags a little bit of color. The tags are cut out with my Cricut and the Art Philosophy cartridge. The adorable little turkey and saying are from the Lil Tweets - Thanksgiving set from Peachy Keen Stamps. I colored in the little turkey with my Copic markers and then added some white pen details.
I tied them on the bags with some yellow ribbon and finished them off with a green button and some raffia.
Before you continue on the hop, I would like to share with you some things that I am thankful for. I am thankful for God's love....I see it every day. I am thankful that He has sent me my wonderful husband and my beautiful children.....they are the greatest blessings in my life. I am thankful for the roof over our heads and for the sustaining food and clean water I have access to. I am also very thankful for the wonderful talent that He has blessed me with and that I am able to share it with you.

Smash Book Post #2 - Scrapping the Little Things with MCT
Hey crafty friends!! Welcome back as I share another smash book post. If you missed my first one, click HERE. I mentioned that I had a couple of smash books for a while and they were way too intimidating to me until Miss Emma at My Creative Time started the Scrapping the Little Things project posts.....so, I had to pull them out and get started with them. Now that I am getting more comfortable with them, I think that I am really starting to love it. I have decided to just use it as a life journal for me. I will make art type of pages as well as stuff about me that my kids and grandkids will hopefully enjoy later. Here is my page for today.....
I titled these pages "I am a MOM." I used the camera stamp from the Camera Shy stamp set from My Creative Time along the middle of the pages and also for the "Smile" on the right picture. I didn't stamp directly onto the photo, but on a piece of acrylic (think packaging) and then cut it out and secured it to the photo with a small paper clip. Here is a shot of the acrylic piece over the left picture that is stamped with the Small Talk stamp set.......
I did it this way so that I wouldn't ruin the photo and have to reprint some more if I messed up. Stamping on smooth surfaces like photos and acrylic isn't exactly easy since the wet ink makes the stamp more likely to slide on the smooth surface. I used a Stazon ink pad for the stamping because that stuff really sticks to slick surfaces.......here is a pic of one of the stamped images I did........
See how the "i" and the heart are a little blured at the top.......it is because I don't have a super steady hand while stamping and so I had to make another one (or two or three) to get it right. I then just cut down the acrylic and used it over my picture.
Here is a closer shot of the bottom of the other page.......
I used some white doilies and painted the edges with a red acrylic paint. I thought they they came out really bright red, so I 'dulled' them down a little with some light brown ink. I added some butterflies and pen details and journaling. Tell me what you think......
You should hop on over to the My Creative Time blog to check out what the other designers are up to with their Scrapping the Little Things projects......I can't wait to see what they have all been up to myself. ;)
Hugs,
Amy
