Gnome Milk Carton

Whoa!!  So, I almost forgot to get this posted and since I created it with the PDCC120 colors, I better get it up. ;)  I used the newest release from Peachy Keen Stamps on my card.  This adorable little gnome is in the Gnomegrown stamp set.  I colored him in with my Copic markers and added some fun white pen details.
The milk carton is cut with my Cricut Expression and the new Tags Bags Boxes and More 2 cartridge.  I really do love all the fun images on this new cartridge.  I even used the new scoring blade and housing and it worked out perfectly for folding the box.  The flowers on my box are cut from the Flower Shoppe cartridge and I added a little bling to the centers with some glitter glue.

I added some pen stitching and tied the top closed with some of the new Shore colored bakers twine from The Twinery.  The stamped sentiment and die cut tag are from Teeny Tag Greetings at My Creative Time.

I am LONG overdue for a giveaway, so I have one planned......check back soon!!  Thanks for stopping by and leaving such sweet comments!!

Amy

Peachy Keen Stamps Sneak Peek Week

Hi friends!!  Have you seen that Peachy Keen Stamps has a kit of the month club??  I am really loving them and this week there is a new release for March.  I have a project to share with you that uses the new March kit of the month........so adorable!!
I used the new kit to create this fun altered composition book to use as notes for my garden this year.  I really need to keep track of what works and how I have my garden laid out each year and I know that this book will be perfect for that.  I colored and paper pieced the cute little gnomes.  I added the words and label with my Cricut and the Elegant Edges and Birthday Bash cartridges.  I embossed the bottom piece of cardstock with my Cuttlebug, added some Imaginisce papers to the spine and then tied it all off with a pretty yellow ribbon.  So what do you think??  The kits will be fully shown and available at the Peachy Keen website on Saturday morning at 8 am Eastern time.  Hop on over to the Peachy Keen blog to check out what the other designers have been creating with this awesome kit.

Hugs,
Amy

3-D Wednesday with My Creative Time - Sweet Friend

I am loving the 3-D Wednesday's at My Creative Time.....we challenge you to create something but, no cards and no layouts.  I used the new Tags Bags Boxes and More 2 cartridge with my Cricut to cut out this sweet little tea cup filled with my *favorite* chocolates.  I added a little bit of distressing to the cup with some same toned ink to make it look a little antiqued.
I added some super cute flowers from the Flower Shoppe cartridge along with a fun little swirl from the Cindy Loo cartridge.  I added some texture to the leaves and petals with an embossing stylus.
The "Sweet Friend" sentiment is stamped and die cut with the Teeny Tag Greetings kit at My Creative Time.  I used a little bit of lace around the bottom of the cup to decorate it up a little and then added some fab bakers twine from The Twinery.

So, what do you think??  I think that I will be having a whole lot of fun playing with the new Tags Bags Boxes and More 2 cartridge along with My Creative Time Stamps!!

Don't forget to leave a comment below and then hop on over to Emma's blog to see what the other super talented designers have created, to play along, and to see who the winner for the new release blog hop is......it could be you!!

Amy

My Creative Time's February Stamp release BLOG HOP!!

Hello friends!!  Today is the February stamp release blog hop at My Creative Time and I have two fun project to share with you today.  First up is a basket shaped card with some super cute eggs inside that are cut with the die that comes in the new Hello Spring stamp set.

The basket is cut with the Cricut and the My Community cartridge at 4.75 inches.  I used my Gypsy to weld the card base together.  The eggs are stamped with the fun decorating stamps that come with the set.  I added some ink to the edges of the eggs along with a little bit of white pen detail to add shine to the eggs.  I tied some ribbon around the handle of the basket and added some twine from The Twinery and a button then I finished off the card with this fun "Hello Spring" sentiment.  Did you know that with the clear acrylic stamps you can bend and curve a sentiment??  So much fun!!

Here is the second project I have to share with you today.  I used the Cricut and Sesame Street Elmo's Party cartridge to cut this fun little box.  I used Cricut Craft Room to make an oval inside the handle instead of the Elmo silhouette.

I stamped the new Spring Chicken Backgrounds stamp set on the box before I assembled it and then stamped and cut out this super cute bunny silhouette from the Hello Spring stamp set by stamp kissing it to the floral stamp in the Spring Chicken Backgrounds stamp set.  It didn't turn out exactly what I was hoping for, but it is still cute.  I added the Just4U sentiment and tied it off with some ribbon and twine from The Twinery.
The flowers are just little circles I punched and then added some cuts with scissors for petals.  I also used the cream Liquid Pearl Pen from Viva for the centers.  So, what do you think??

3D Birthday Cupcakes with My Creative Time

Today is my first official project for My Creative Time and today is 3D Wednesday.  Emma asked me to create a 3D project with her All Around Birthday Time stamp set and so I created these fun cupcake containers with my Cricut and Sweet Tooth Boxes cartridge.......I am so loving the 3D projects that this cart can create.......

I used my Cuttlebug and D'Vine Swirls to emboss the top part and added some ribbon and the new Flax colored bakers twine from The Twinery and a button.

The flower on the top is cut with the Flower Shoppe cartridge and I added a little texture with a large tipped embossing stylus and also a little bit of darker orange ink for added depth.

The tag is stamped with the All Around Birthday Time stamp set and then cut out with the Scallop and Stitched Circle die set.

Hop on over to the My Creative Time blog to see what the other awesome designers came up with to share with you today.

Valentine Lollipop Holder and Design Team Announement

I have two wonderful things to share with you today.  First of all I wanted to share this Valentine's Day decorated lollipop holder that I made with a fab little Stitched Lollipop Holder die that is available from Emma at My Creative Time.  I was able to get 5 from one 12 x 12 sheet.  I used her More Gift Card Sentiments to stamp the "Happy Valentine's Day" words on the die cut shape and then inked around the edges a little bit.

I also used My Creative Time's Teeny Tag Greetings for the little "Be Mine" tags and then tied them all up with some fabulous Pink Sorbet bakers twine from The Twinery.  I added some little die cut hearts that I cut with my Cricut and Doodlecharms cart that I embossed with my Cuttlebug and Swiss Dots embossing folder and then added a little pink button to finish it off.  Aren't they sooooo cute!!  I just ♥ them!!
So, do you want to hear about my exciting design team announcement??  Emma has invited me to be a part of her AMAZING design team at My Creative Time!!  WooHoo!!  I am really excited to get to work with such a WONDERFUL line up of talented designers and her FABULOUS products.  I can't wait to show you more.
My Creative Time Design Team

I wanted to write a little bit to introduce myself to Emma's readers......
I am married to a wonderful man and also a mommy to three very active kiddos who occupy most of my time.  Many evenings, after they are tucked into their beds, I sneak into my crafting room and there you will most likely find me up until the wee hours of the morning creating away.  I have been crafting from a very young age along side my grandmother who was always doing something crafty......I would love to pass on the love of crafts to my own children, so I have a corner in my crafting room where they can do their own special projects right along side mommy.  I enjoy doing all kinds of arts and crafts, but the one that I love the most is paper crafting. ♥

Peachy Keen Stamps Toilet Paper Roll Challenge

Today there is a new challenge up at the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge blog........to create with toilet paper rolls.  I made napkin rings........I used two rolls and then I marked them so that I could carefully cut them into thirds with a craft knife.  I wrapped them with some scrap papers and then stamped the super cute heart and face image from the January 2012 KOTM from Peachy Keen Stamps.

Here is a close up:
I paper pieced the flowers and added a little twine from The Twinery, some chalk to the face as well as a little white pen detail.

I hope that you can join us over at the Peachy Keen Stamps Challenge blog and show us what you can create with a toilet paper roll.........

Hugs,
Amy

Flashback Friday's Blog Hop Celebration!!

Welcome to the Flashback Friday 20.0 blog hop celebration!!  If you are here from Yvonne's blog, you are in the right place, but if not and you would like to join in and have a chance at some wonderful prizes, CLICK HERE to start at the beginning and to get all the details.

I am really excited to get to join ~amy~ along with the other guest designers for Flashback Friday for this fun blog hop.  The theme for Flashback Friday 20.0 is Black and White.  You need to post a picture of your first Black and White card.  Well, I searched my archives on the blog and guess what.....I couldn't find a single card that is just black and white and I knew that I had created one at some point.  I dug into my card stash and sure enough there was one in there that I had partially created for a challenge a while ago and never posted because it was late.  I just added the the sticker sentiment to finish off the card.....

So, would you like a *peek* at the wonderful prizes that are up for grabs??

Click on the banner below to get started on the hop plus all the details on how to enter for the yummy goodies pictured above, but if you are already on your way through, hop on over to Karin's blog to see what she has to share with you.........and don't forget to leave your comment below......
